From the outside looking in, Shaun Ross Wiebe seemed to have a clean sheet with nothing but a ticket for distracted driving and failing to remain on the scene of an accident in 2017.
But no one could be prepared for the horror that he caused on the night of March 15 2018 that resulted in the tragic death of Heather Marie Barker.
“It is through her children that we will remember all the good that Heather had to offer throughout her time on Earth.”

While compiling files to edit this episode, I came across an article stating that one of the victims in today’s case, Robbie Stetson Ford, was arrested in June 2018 for the sexual exploitation of a minor. I would like to mention that I do not side with or condone Robbie’s actions; unfortunately, the case never went to trial, to my knowledge. I was unaware of this during filming, post-research, and post-script development.
Please understand that his father, Robert Marion Ford Jr, was also a victim in this case, and his story deserves to spread.
I also realize I have been pronouncing Robbie’s middle name, Stetson, wrong.
