The rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and traditions weaves us together, reminding us that diversity is our strength. In the laughter of children playing, the rhythms of our music, and the warmth of our communities, I see the heart of Africa shining brightly. Let us celebrate our natural wonders and cherish the spirit of unity that binds us. Africa is not just a place; it is a feeling, a heritage, and a promise for generations to come. Here is a young note to you! Stay Blessed and Stay Winning. "Dear self, I want to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate my strength and resilience throughout this year. I'm proud of myself for pushing beyond my comfort zone and learning new skills that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. I'm grateful for the new friendships I've formed, which have brought joy and support into my life. I'm proud of myself for being open to new connections and experiences. I also want to acknowledge the love and kindness I've shared with others, whether it's through small acts of kindness or bigger gestures. I'm proud of myself for being a source of love and light in the lives of those around me. This year has not been without its challenges, and I'm proud of myself for persevering through the tough times, especially when we suffered a loss in our family. I'm proud of myself for allowing myself to feel the emotions that came with it, and for taking the time to heal and process my grief. Lastly, I want to thank myself for being brave enough to share my music with the world through streaming. It takes courage to put myself out there, and I'm proud of myself for taking that leap. Here's to an amazing year, and I look forward to all the growth, love, and adventures that the new year will bring! Love,

**Thank you for streaming your actually supporting us saying noo to GBV NO to the killing our family members our mothers our grandmothers ** To all who have experienced loss in 2024, our hearts ache with you. The pain of losing loved ones is a heavy burden, especially in a time when violence and grief seem to overshadow our lives. To Bana baga Mastepese family all the way in Lehrutshe Dinokana village, we share in your sorrow over the loss of your aunt, mother, and grandmother **Miss Dorcas Disemelo.** May you find eternal rest In moments like these, it's vital to remember that we are not alone. Though tears may fall and hearts may feel shattered, we hold onto hope and the belief that God's presence surrounds us. He walks with us through our darkest hours, offering comfort and strength. We must also stand together against the violence that plagues our communities. The loss of our parents and loved ones to gender-based violence is a tragedy that must end. Let us unite our voices and efforts to advocate for change, support one another, and honor those we've lost by striving for a safer world. Through our grief, we find resilience. Together, we will heal, and together, we will fight for a future free from fear and violence. May God’s grace be with us all as we navigate this painful journey.

**FOR THOSE OF US WHO MAKE MUSIC **we walked in the early morning when the dogs were tired of barking our footsteps, lost in the ways of ticking minutes took us everywhere where we never intended to be like, remember how the minute looked under its sole and there our blood was our flesh, stuck under sole turning to soil blood and flesh turned to mud the hour, like all the applauses we know and have heard declared us ants destined for the mad hoofs so the weary midnight hour held our hands and the empty streets stared at us with their lights and again, once more, we kept turning on our beds as if the mattress was hot earth roasting worms ah music-maker, one day when your feather breaks and the prowess of your speech vanishes like a snowflake falling on the earth remember you ride the hour like death rides life © 1975, [Mongane Wally Serote](https://www.poetryinternational.com/en/poets-poems/poems/poem/103-15597_FOR-THOSE-OF-US-WHO-MAKE-MUSIC) From: Behold Mama, Flowers Publisher: AD Donker, Johannesburg new york, 1975

This is for all bahurutshe and everyone around the globe.. Dumelang The Bahurutshe are said to be one of the branches of the Bakwena (sometimes called Bakone). This tribe, it appears, moved from north to south. Traditional accounts say that after crossing the Oodi (Limpopo) River, it broke up into many offshoots which spread out and lived in different places under different tribal names. Phofhu is said to have been the greatest and the most famous of their chiefs since they settled south of the Limpopo. In direct line from Phofhu was descended Malope who was the twelfth chief (of the Bakwena) from Phofhu. One account says that Malope had two children - a daughter, Lehurutshe, I the eldest by the first wife, and a son Kwena by the second wife. After Malope's death, a split occurred in the tribe. Some of the Bakone encouraged Lehurutshe to claim the chieftainship, for, though a woman, she was the daughter of the senior wife; but most would not be ruled by a woman when there was a male. This quarrel led to a split. Lehurutshe, at the head of a considerable following, left the capital Majanamatshwana and went to live in Tsoenyane, then known as Lesosong, now the town of Heidelberg. On their way to Lesosong they went through a pass of the Mokgana Mountains (Magaliesberg). So they must have lived north of Magaliesberg. In later years they removed from Lesosong, crossed Kokotsi (Witwatersrand), and settled in the Madiko (Marico) VaHey. The followers of Princess Lehurutshe were then named Bahurutshe after her and those of Kwena were called Bakwena. Another account, however, says Malope had four sons, by four different wives - Mohurutshe, Kwena, Ngwato, Ngwaketse. Mohurutshe, the heir apparent, rebelled against his father, left the capital, and founded his own independent kingdom. From that time his subjects were known as Bahurutshe, after their chief Mohurutshe I. Evidently the name Bahurutshe derives either from Lehurutshe or Mohurutshe. The Bahurutshe only use Lehurutshe as the name of the tribal area, never as a personal name. From https://journals.co.za/doi/pdf/10.10520/AJA052550590_469
