Radio’s favourite situationship, aka Tristan Fidler and Simon Miraudo, are back with two comedies about modern love… and then a bonus movie about people being killed while taking a long walk.
Joining Pam Boland on Brekky, Tristan leads a review of the side-splitting, slapstick farce Splitsville, featuring writer-director Michael Angelo Covino, co-writer Kyle Marvin and producers Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona as romantically entangled couples.
Then, Simon leads a review of the rare ‘quadruple-A’ feature Lesbian Space Princess (it’s Animated, it’s for Adults, it’s Australian and it was more specifically made in Adelaide). It’s a sweet and very raunchy adventure about, well, a lesbian space princess, with comedy royalty rounding out the voice cast.
Stay tuned for a pod-exclusive chat about the latest Stephen King adaptation (his third this year!) The Long Walk, with Tristan and Simon debating what even makes a Stephen King adaptation any good.
All of these films are now showing in Australian cinemas.
