It’s spooky season on Movie Squad, and not just because two of the regular presenters have mysteriously gone missing!
With Tristan Fidler behind the desk serving Breakfast, he’s joined by Laura Blundell and Lucy Rutherford to review three new cinema releases.
First up, Lucy takes a look at Guillermo del Toro’s gothic Frankenstein, starring Oscar Isaac as the good doctor and Jacob Elordi as his unholy creation. It’s now in cinemas before heading to Netflix.
Then, Laura reviews the supernatural mystery Shelby Oaks, about a woman seeking her long-lost sister amid suspicious, maybe demonic circumstances. It’s also now showing in Australian cinemas.
Stay tuned for a pod-exclusive review of the latest Colleen Hoover adaptation, Regretting You, starring Allison Williams, Dave Franco and Mckenna Grace.
Be sure to tune in to RTRFM every Friday at 7:30am to hear Movie Squad live on Breakfast with Pam!
And find out more about Tristan’s Trash Classics screenings at Luna Cinemas on the last Friday of ever month here.
Movie Squad is sponsored by Luna Palace Cinemas, WA’s premiere independent cinemas, bringing the best film content and cinematic events to Perth.
