hello dear listeners,
it has been a while since my last episode but I wanted to talk to you about a little phenomenon I was thinking about when watching three movies in a week in January: The Boy and the Heron, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and Porco Rosso and it is something they all have in common, which is that they find elaborate, fantastical ways to express very common themes and emotions. Emotions that are so common in fact, that technically everyone should be able to relate to them one way or another.
I hope you enjoy this episode, even if it is not as clear perhaps what I mean. I am always super curious to hear what you guys think about these movies, so if you've seen even one of them, tell me about what you think!
anyways! Thank you so much for listening.
