The word "there" in this lesson is used as an idiom to express the nature of some of life experiences that affect our lives significantly.
However, we understand that most of these experiences are designed by God, either to protect the calling of an individual or to be used as a point of transition for the fulfillment of a greater purpose.

The Billboards of current events are advertising a horrifying future of this world. However the Bible teaches that there is an alternate reality to the prognosis of doom and gloom in the world. This can be found in the parellel spiritual universe coexisting with the natural world called "the kingdom of God."
However, men must be spiritually transformed to access it.
Hence, the need for spiritual world changers for this task.

Generally, God is recognized as the Father of all creation, as such, all human beings have access to the common graces of God. However because men are seen as individuals before God, the divine destiny of each life is determined by an individualistic response to divine biddings of God. Those who trust Hime wholeheartedly experience uncommon grace and live in hope of a utopic eternity.

The Bible recognizes two categories of people in the world, the godly and the ungodly. The respective destiny of these groups are determined by their choices which are ultimately influenced by their worldviews. according to the Bible, man is a spirit being and therefore he should contemplate his eternal destiny from God's perspectives.

The lesson is about God's man Jonah, choosing rebellion over obedience.we have seen his futile effort to hide from the presence of God in bottom of a ship, but even there the Spirit of God found him.
We will learn that the purpose of God will not wait, therefore it transcends human's willingness and readiness.

The lesson is about a servant of God contemplating his response to the mandate of God upon his life: 'obedience or rebellion?'
It is about our obedient response to Jehovah when He gives us an assignment; regardless of how difficult it appears to be.

This lesson is some-what prophetic, in that if promises imminent change to individuals experiencing circumstantial and physical deprivation.
Beating the odds means transcending unfortunate situations to achieve intended goals. It is rising from the ashes of misfortune and deprivation to embrace the limitless possibilities of ascendency.

We Understand that everything in life is measured by its usefulness, expandability as well as its durability. However, Christians evaluation of things is from an eternal prespective. good things maybe morally excellent but they are seen as merely transient and incidentals, while the the best things in life are seen as essential and eternal.
"The best things in life are not even things."

In spite of the complexities in our decision making, it remains clear that it is choice and not chance that determines destiny.
A choice consist of the mental process of judging the merits of multiple options and the opportunity to select one or more of them.
Any decision that holds The Almighty at the helm, is one that ensures success.

It is the duty of the church of Jesus Christ to prepare the earth for the manifested presence of God.
Truly, the glory of God’s presence brings hope and restoration to the world that seems to shrouded in moral darkness.

Where are the nine? is a question that reflects the disappointment of the Creator with His creation, upon whom He has lavished benevolent favors and gets nothing but rebellion and repudiation in return.
Luke 17:11-17 therefore is a microcosm of human's response to the favors of God.

While there is no distinction between male and female with God, there is a biblically established protocal where the male of the human species is expected to lead on matters of moral and spiritual significance. hence, the call for the male in our society to assume their godly role.

While the social and political systems of the world seems to be in chaos and men are becoming apprehensive about the future, Christians are being encouraged that the unusual occurences in the earth realm are signs that their redemption is drawing near.

In a world where men are expected to earn their keeps and corroborate their qualifications, God offers something that no one can ever be qualified for.
This is called "Grace" - "favors bestows upon men without merits." This is God's Love in action.

The story of the "prodigal" was an object lesson taugh by Jesus to reveal to the religious leaders that it is the natural desires of man to seek uninhibited freedom from all moral and spiritual obligations. consequently, like the 'prodigal,' many have blatantly repudiated the safety of the covenant they had with God. Now they are lost in a world of godlessness.

This lesson is about man being lost in a familiar environment like the "Lost Coin"
Itis my opinion that the rubbles of the broken moral and social pillars that litter the globe, are evidences that human beings without God in the centre of theirs aspirations are suffering from bewilderment, and is therefore heading in the opposite direction of their ultimate destination.

Unfortunately, the Judeo-Christian Faith is being perceived these days merely as one of the many sociological structures to which one may turn to appesae one's conscience. to counteract this, the church must be re-enregized by the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Generally speaking, it seems like humanity has lost its moral compass, which is the instrument responsible for navagation and orientation. Consequently, we are wondering in spiritual oblivion, heading in the opposite direction of the ancient paradigms which once held our civilized society aloft from barbarism and constant mutiny.
Jesus however, offers to rescue those who are lost.

The world has entered a new era where men are developing strange fascinations and ungodly tendencies. Amidst all these, genuine thirst for God seems to be weaning and we are left with mere affinity for religious exercises which are void of communion with God.
