At some point in life, everyone experiences some form of pain and suffering. The way that we respond to our pain and suffering will determine the legacy we leave with those we love. As disciples of Jesus, we have the opportunity to take on his example of forgiveness to cut out the root of bitterness and return peace and blessing from the pain and suffering we experience.

As we grow to a more mature discipleship our focus shifts from getting our life together to giving it away. We do this through intentional selfless living, forgiveness, gratitude, and commitment to the mission of God. Practically, we begin to focus on the teachings of the great commandment, great commission, and social mandate.
