In this very first episode of 2022,  Aaron Akpu Philip shared his precious time with us on this episode. We spoke about his early days, study abroad scholarships, how to make the most of rejection emails, and lots more.


About Aaron Akpu Philip (MSPH):

Aaron Akpu Philip is a Public Health Practitioner with up to 10 years of experience working and volunteering in both the Global North and South. He holds a first degree in Microbiology from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria, and an M.Sc. in Public Health-Health Promotion from Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom.

Currently, Aaron is a Doctoral Researcher at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, where he explores the "Adherence to Antiretroviral Therapy among Persons with Disabilities Living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in Nigeria". He has worked as a Sessional Academic in QUT and supported the learning of first-year students on the “Contemporary Human Rights” course. He is the HDR representative for QUT's School of Public Health and Social Work.
