This week we speak with L'Anse Creuse's finest Tyler Spezia. Speez is living the dream every kid from Michigan dreams about, but it wasn't always so glamorous. Tyler almost quit playing hockey completely twice as a young kid, but was reeled back in by his friends and loved ones. Thankfully he went from playing all three years at L'Anse Creuse High School to battling his way to starting an amazing career! What a story!

This week the guys are blessed to be chatting all things hockey with Farmington Hills native, Megan Keller! Megan grew up playing Honeybaked Hockey, but growing up she also played baseball/softball and basketball! She ran the show at Boston College for four years throwing around bodies and scoring points! All while that was going on she managed to win 4 Golds at Worlds and 1 Olympic Gold!

This week we get to talk to WCHA Champ Zack Cisek. Zack, Canton native, the Assistant Coach of Lake Superior State Univ. joins us to talk about how he carved out his path to LSSU.

Zack won TWO State Championships with Catholic Central, and after that later joined the Michigan State Hockey team! From there he worked with Rico Blassi's staff and the Brotherhood at Miami Univ. for two years with their Grad Program! After that Zack was a volunteer coach at Notre Dame where he picked up a wealth of knowledge and learned about truly working hard to!

The SPHL Goalie of the Year from Washington Twp, MI, Jake Theut, takes time to chat about his very bumpy road to Pro hockey. After hearing about the hurdles this kid has crossed, and then understanding his positive attitude... You can't not be a fan of him.

This week we're very lucky to speak with Jackson native, Nathan "Natedawg" Phillips. Natedawg was a goalie at Michigan State for four years and finished with a 1.00SV% and 0.00GAA. He was a stud. Today Natedawg is now a Falcon with Bowling Green State Univ.

We talk about Nate's start in roller hockey in Jackson, Capital Centre Pride, all things MSU, and lastly his roll as a Hockey Ops Director. Natedawg is a salt of the earth human that carved an incredible path coming from his humble beginnings in Jackson, MI.

Cal is a Macomb boy, but is currently playing for UMass-Amherst. Besides talking about the Ship, we get into his development. Cal wasn't always destined for greatness, rather he ahd to work and fight his was into AAA hockey before the USHL.

Cal is also a roller dad, so naturally we get into his State Wars 2020 Championship as well!

This week the boys were lucky enough to hear from this year's Coach of the Year and State Champion with Cranbrook Kingswood, John LaFontaine. John is a native of Pontiac, and grew up wheeling around at Lakeland Ice Arena.

We talked about his time in the WHL and OHL, and how crazy it was back then. Then we went over his coaching career and some advice he has for players and parents that are looking to make it. Some of the advice he has may come as a bit of a surprise!

The week the guys sit down with Macomb native Scott Czarnowczan! Scott grew up playing AAA for Honey Baked, then won a Clark Cup with Jon Cooper on Green Bay. Then went and played for Ferris State as a Captain. After college Scott played three years pro with Grand Rapids and Toledo.

Scott's the type of guy that is always reliable. A guy you can always count on. Thanks for the time Scott!

This week the guys learn what stuff Kenny Ryan did to reach the levels he played at. Kenny was incredible at the NTDP. Had the chance to win a championship with Boston College, but decided a Mem Cup sounded a little bit better! Currently in charge of Hockey Development with Rolston Hockey Academy and HC of LC U16 Girl's hockey, Kenny gives back to the hockey community to help today's players reach the same heights he did!

This week we were fortunate enough to get a few of our GM's from the league to sit down and give us a status report. We go through all of the rumors, allegations, and back door stories with each one!

This week the guys sit down to chat all things development with River Rymsha. A product of Huntington Wood, MI, River played all facets of Michigan hockey growing up. From the LC skating a the Joe to packed stands playing for Orchard Lake St Mary's.

After talking development we got an inside take on Ivy League hockey, specifically Dartmouth and his journey to play pro. Riv is currently playing in Slovakia. We also ask him a bit about his gear and connection to Warrior Hockey!

This week Joe and Everet talk shop with a young prospect, Mr. Point per Game Frank Nazar. Frank is a young gun from Mt. Clemens who's hoping to find the eyes of some NHL teams between this year and next. With him being already committed to University of Michigan for hockey, he can really focus on dial in his skill set for the next level! Every time this kid touches the ice though, he amazes! You can catch his games at USA Arena in Plymouth!
