Mezcal Stories Episode 5: Interview with Alfredo Pérez Salinas, CEO & Partner Mezcal El Tinieblo, from Tamaulipas

Ferruko tells his family´s story since 1986 in ranch "El Tinieblo" in the state of Tamaulipas, where they found a 3 ton old tahona, which was used for making Mezcal, and how they decided to bring back the tradition, first producing for self consumption and later for commercializing it. Interesting to know his father was involved in getting the Denomination of Origin for the state, being Tamaulipas the 7th of 9 to have it. His brand has crossed borders and is sold in Mexico, the US, Quebec, UK and soon in China.
