A global financial crisis placed heavy economic strain on the growing city while the historic Flood of 2010 would force the people of Nashville to look inward. Two homebrewers would set the stage for a total transformation in Nashville craft beer. Linus Hall of Yazoo and Kent Taylor of Blackstone would eventually become The Godfathers of craft beer and every major brewery to open in Nashville would benefit from these two individuals. They took risks, they saw Nashville's future and they bet big on great beer.
