Welcome (back) to Mars.
5/5. This was the last poem I posted last year. Honestly, there's so much more that needs to be done. I wonder if I can do it all. I think I am too much into the business of starting and pausing, I wonder if I'll ever be consistent enough (not for others, but for me). Is that how serendipity starts?

I honestly still don't know what failure is at this point, or if success is easier to define. I have no idea of the processes in between as well. I think there was a point where I didn't bother looking for any of it, and then a time when I looked to far and swallowed myself in the process.

I am loving myself, or at least learning how to. If you've known me from last year then you know that I did that job very poorly. Honestly, I've yet to understand if I am finally decent at it. But I would like to be. So here's 'love, again'.

Fate has always been a tricky thing. For a while, all I wanted was to believe in it and follow whatever is in the horizon. But life will only take you so far before you can have something called fate. Is it even something you can have? There are two ways to life, chasing fate or letting fate. Maybe, both of them ain't so bad. What do you think?
I'm back. Actually, I've been lurking around, and this poem has actually been ready since last year, and was actually posted first in the YouTube channel.
I have newer poems that reflect more recent experiences, but I couldn't put out the ones that I've done without including the poems in between. Trust me when I say that a lot has been written in the past couple of months, but the change was also momentous. This year has been a transition in so many ways. I'm ready to change with it.

For the last month of year, December 2020, we will be reading poetry by the great Elizabeth Barrett Browning. I've read most of her poems during high school. It seemed just fitting to look back this year with this poet. We all need some Browning to end this year. Let's listen to the last poem of the month: "How do I love thee?".
