My Talk with Shaine Greenwood
Earlier this month, I spoke to writer Shaine Greenwood about his recently-published sci-fi anthology, The Aether, but we discussed a number of other topics, including beta readers, Patreon and self-promotion, social media, and whether writers should also be readers. About Shaine: Shaine Greenwood (he/him pronouns) is a Seattle-based writer who takes practice in the time-honored Pacific Northwest traditions of drinking coffee, hiking, and avoiding eye contact with strangers. He has recently published The Aether, a collection of 11 scifi stories, on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091G2NH3Z Aside from the published works on Amazon, you can find Shaine's writings on his author site, youaremuted.com ***** Email me: marisadellefarfalle@gmail.com Twitter: twitter.com/marisadee13 Instagram: www.instagram.com/marisadf13 Buy Me a Coffee: www.buymeacoffee.com/marisadf13 I'd really appreciate it if you could rate and review this podcast on Apple Podcasts, as it'll help a lot more people find out about this show! Talking with...WB Welch!
I recently had a great discussion with writer WB Welch about novellas, horror writing, poetry, and how writers can fit writing into a busy schedule and effectively use social media. ***** About WB Welch: While she's spent most of her professional career in marketing and customer communications, WB has had many hobbies over the years, including photography and natural skin care and holistic remedies. She studied and became certified in personal training and corrective exercise, and she’s always been an adrenaline junkie. She’s been bungee jumping, skydiving, owned a Yamaha R1 for a time (before it was so woefully stollen), and she was getting pretty decent at staying on top of a skateboard before chronic illness slowed her down a little. She’s currently working as an email developer while writing in her free time. She often focuses on the darker side of human emotions, striving to write honest fiction with texture. Publishing credits include Blood Drops, The Last Letter, and Wet Water, as well as “Baby Muncher” in the 16th edition of Thrice Fiction. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Southern Methodist University.
