Child abuse is rampant in every country in the world. You would think that the reason for this is because parents are being excessively careless by leaving their children in the hands of strangers but statistics show us that 90% of abuse generally comes from family and people within our closest circles. Verbal, emotional, physical and even sexual abuse can have long-lasting consequences for children. As parents and caregivers, it's our duty to be sensitive both naturally and spiritually to the needs of our children. Children need protection.
In this conversation, our guest, Toni Sanni (Lady T) shares with us why children need protection, a common sense approach to accommodating guests at home, the need for sex education for our children, and how to overcome negative cultural expectations that deprive children of being protected. As believers, we must treat our children with as much care as our Heavenly Father treats us.
Grab a snack and listen! It's a long, but necessary conversation.
Bonus: Even better if you listen to it with your spouse.
