"Mowgli's Brothers" is a short story by Rudyard Kipling. Chronologically it is the first story about Mowgli although it was written after "In the Rukh" in which Mowgli appears as an adult. 

Dracula is a novel by Bram Stoker, published in 1897. As an epistolary novel, the narrative is related through letters, diary entries, and newspaper articles. It has no single protagonist, but opens with solicitor Jonathan Harker taking a business trip to stay at the castle of a Transylvanian noble, Count Dracula. 

പത്തൊൻപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിലെ വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രരംഗത്തെ ഏറ്റവും കുപ്രസിദ്ധമായ വിവാദമായിരുന്നു ഡോക്ടർ റോബർട്ട് നോക്സ് ഉൾപ്പെട്ട മൃതദേഹവ്യാപാരം. വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രപഠനത്തിനായി മൃതദേഹങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്താൻ അദ്ദേഹം ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന മാർഗങ്ങൾ വളരെ നിഗൂഢമായിരുന്നു. ഇതിനെ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റി അനേകം ഊഹാപോഹങ്ങളും ഭയാനകമായ കഥകളും അക്കാലത്ത് പ്രചരിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഈ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ എഴുതപ്പെട്ട ഒരു "മിസ്റ്ററി" ചെറുകഥയാണ് "Body Snatchers". ട്രഷർ ഐലൻഡ്, കിഡ്നാപ്പ്ഡ് തുടങ്ങിയ നോവലുകളുടെ രചിയിതാവായ റോബർട്ട് ലൂയി സ്റ്റീവൻസൺ 1885-ഇൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ചെറുകഥയുടെ ശബ്ദാവിഷ്കാരം
