He also toys with the idea of mobile banking in countries where load shedding is the norm and access to the internet a luxury. Dr Jani questions the very presence of healthcare systems, not only in the UK but internationally.Prior to his academic positions, Anant was Executive Director at Better Value Healthcare, a boutique advisory firm that worked with healthcare systems in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia to help them redesign their healthcare systems to focus more on value based healthcare.
