#C6 : ‘I’m 39 and need permission from my FAMILY to travel abroad?!’
So here we are the beginning of a new decade, 2021 - Time where rovers are being sent to Mars, drones are being used as a method of delivery and where robots are now your very own waiters (s/o to Naulo Restaurant, Durbar Marg, Kathmandu), the Nepali government is proposing that a women now MUST seek consent from their family AND the concerned ward officer if they want to travel abroad (via visa visit)?!
For chapter six, we discuss why this new law has been proposed, how the public has been reacting and our personal thoughts on this very matter.
