The Red Sox (69-59) got their 8-game road trip off on the right foot with Thursday's night's 6-3 victory over the Yankees at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The win snapped the Red Sox 3-game losing streak and ended the Yankees 5-game win streak. Roman Anthony extended the Red Sox lead with a huge 2-out, 2-run Home Run in the Top of the 9th and Aroldis Chapman retired the side 1-2-3 in the Bottom of the 9th.

Sox at the Dish: Roman Anthony tied the game at 3-3 on an RBI Single in the 6th Inning. The Sox went back in front in the 7th with Trevor Story reaching with a leadoff Single and he scored from 1st on an RBI Double from Nathaniel Lowe. The Sox would load the bases with 1 out, but Carlos Narvaez and Roman Anthony both struck out to end the Innings. Roman Anthony hit his first Yankee Stadium Home Run in the 9th with a 2-out, 2-run shot providing some insurance.

The Sox tied the game up with 2 in the 9th on a 2-run Home Run from Nathaniel Lowe but could not bring in the winning run. The Sox went 2-3 on their homestand and are now on the road for the next 8 games.

Sox at the Dish: The Sox had the leadoff man reach in each of the 1st 3 Innings against Tomoyuki Sugano but did not score in the 1st 2 Innings. Connor Wong led off the 3rd with a Single and eventually scored on a Balk from Sugano. Oriole pitchers combined to retire 11 straight hitters heading to the 8th Inning. The Sox loaded up the bases with 2 Singles and a walk. Rico Garcia came into the game and struck out Jarren Duran (on 3 pitches), Trevor Story, and Masa Yoshida. The Sox tied the game at 3-3 in the Bottom of the 9th on a 2-run Home Run from Nathaniel Lowe, his 1st hit with his new club. The Red Sox had the bases loaded and 1 out in the 10th but Abraham Toro hit into an inning-ending double play. Down a run in the 11th, the So got Nate Eaton to 3rd with less than 2 outs but Roman Anthony Flied Out to center and Alex Bregman popped up on the infield for the game's final out.

The Sox managed only 6 hits and never led at any point and have now lost 3 in a row at home to the Orioles. The first from Dane Myers tied the game at 3-3. The second from Jakob Marsee put the Marlins up by 2 runs. It's the Red Sox 2nd loss of the season (57-2) when leading after 8 Innings.

The Red Sox (68-56) clinched the series victory over the Miami Marlins by holding on for a 7-5 victory Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park. The Sox have won 7 straight home series at Fenway. Aroldis Chapman had to come on and get the final out in the 9th inning after the Marlins got 3 2-out runs off Isaiah Campbell in the 9th Inning. The Sox will go for their 7th sweep of the season and 6th at home Sunday afternoon.

He departed the game with the Sox trailing, 4-1.

The series is even at 1-1 and the Red Sox are now 4-1 on the season against the Astros. It's the Sox 66th win of the season. They won their 66th game last season on August 20 at Houston. The Sox are now 19-0 when scoring 10 or more runs in a Game this season.
