The Philadelphia Phillies continued their ROLL by beating the Kansas City Royals, 8-2 for their fifth straight win and 12th in their last 15 games.
Walker Buehler made his Phillies debut and his first start since August 19th when he was with the Red Sox. He tossed five innings allowing just one run on five hits and one walk throwing 90 pitches. In between starts he made one bullpen appearance for the Red Sox, then was released, made one minor start for the Phillies.
In total the Phillies offense came up with 14 hits, but the biggest came in the 3rd inning when Bryce Harper smacked a two-run homer to left-center for this 26th homer of the season and a 3-1 Phillies lead. The Phightins' had all the momentum after that!
