Tigers left OUT of College Football Playoff at 10-2? I'll believe it when I see it. Plus, Missouri basketball beats Howard, but there are a couple things I'm concerned about.

Matt Zollers' play down the stretch will be a major factor in the future of Mizzou football. Hypothetically, would you rather be Gene Chizik or Mike Gundy? Plus, Missouri basketball opens at Howard this evening.

Yet another crazy week has gone by in the SEC in the wake of the LSU Tigers' firing of head coach Brian Kelly. There will also be another slate of big games as the conference prepares for Week 10. The Texas Longhorns are hosting the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Oklahoma Sooners are traveling to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers and more.

This team would admittedly look better with Fernando Mendoza, but let's not hold the quarterback crapshoot against Eli Drinkwitz. (Same with Jayden Daniels.) Florida Gator fans need a dose of reality regarding their next head coach. It isn't all perfect at LSU either. Plus, when it comes to quarterback runs, Mizzou would be smart to be a little "scared".

Championships mean more at Missouri than LSU or Florida. One thing has changed in the past few weeks, however. Ahmod Billins is the latest addition to the 2026 class. Plus, Dennis Gates is shying away from NOTHING.

Reportedly, Beau Pribula has an outside chance of returning this season. Brett Norfleet's status is updated. Dennis Gates likes to play as many as ten players; my take on the likely rotation.

Unfortunately, Mizzou can't push the "next man up" mentality too much further at quarterback. But there are reasons for optimism. Eli Drinkwitz said, "We were on the wrong end of the flags," and I completely agree. Also, SPIKE THE BALL.
