Today, we begin the study of the proper use of Spiritual Gifts to prevent disorder, confusion and division. The Apostle Paul had to address the wrong use of Spiritual Gifts so the churches didn’t become self-centered and proud. Also teaching that not everyone has all the gifts and that the focus needs to be on building up the entire church to love Christ and one another to be able to reach out to a lost and dying world where most people don’t know Jesus and the Good News.

Isaiah was around the age of 18-21 when he responded to God in this Turning Point in his life, personally, and a Turning Point in the Nation of Israel. He first realized that within his own life and the people he was being called to warn were a depth of sinfulness that he was made aware of in this vision of God in His Holy Temple. Each of us, apart from God and His mercy, humility, and the recognition of our need to repent and draw near to God, there is no ability to be used by Him to bring Turning Points into the lives of others. The church today, as well as the nation of America and the entire world, needs the Good News of Salvation in Christ. Each of us has a destiny that God desires us to fulfill, bringing Him glory as we are used to telling others about our Turning Point of surrendering to God’s will and following Him. This alone brings a joyful and abundant life of purpose and peace.Today may be a Turning Point for each of us…

Worldly wisdom is marked by having envy and self-ambition in the heart. Where these exist, confusion and every evil thing are present. We observe this confusion and the workings of evil forces within the Church in the form of conflicts and fighting. James says that warring in the church is the result of warring within our own hearts, and we are at war against God when we compromise and become friends with the world. But when we humble ourselves, God’s good grace is there for us.
