For my last episode recorded in Valencia, I welcome Eunsoo to the mic: this cheerful South Korean girl has leveraged her studies in international development and relations to travel from South America to Asia to Europe, with some incursions also in Tanzania, Turkey and more! A fearless Couchsurfer always ready to mingle with locals, she also recruited her father as an Airbnb Experience guide in her home city, and she will soon be taking a position in Ecuador for a United Nations mission - on a continent which hosts her 3 favourite countries. Follow her adventures on Instagram @syusyu_travelnlife and you can take a look also at her Youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@eunsoolee378
If there is one thing Primrose likes in her life, it's sports and adrenalin, with travels coming a close third. And she is never gonna let travels get in the way of some gym and sport and adrenalin-fuelled activity, so in Valencia... she sits down with me to record a podcast, describe her travels, her experiences and her journey towards becoming a private trainer.
Find more about her on Instagram @primvsprim and on Couchsurfing: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/primrose-gwala-1
I sit down with ROMAIN right at the end of a 1500km bike journey from France. Crazy as it sounds, it is not even the most impressive journey this autodidact who goes with the flow, wherever it may lead him. If he passes near you, don't miss the chance to host him: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/romain-lacharme

Live from a table in a busy coffee place in the center of Valencia, I interview today ANDREW, a Canadian free soul whose work in English camps and Au Pair families has enabled to explore Europe these past 4 years. Together we talk about what makes a perfect Couchsurfing host (or guest), his love of running, and the conviviality of boardgames - before heading out to a Trivia Quiz night (and winning it!). Check him out on Couchsurfing at: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/andy-jacobs-3
Have you ever thought of leaving your job and starting a digital nomad career? Ana Carolina is a young Brazilian woman who will tell us how she challenged herself to become who she dreamed to be, leaving a comfortable desk job behind her, and now helps people to make the first steps towards their own journey, a travel which starts usually within the mind itself. You can find her on Instagram at @acarolinalisboa_en or on her website: https://www.acarolinalisboa.com/en.

Our guest today is MAGDALENA, from Poland, a self-confessed social butterfly whose wings have flown her as far as Morocco, Madeira, and Zanzibar thanks to a career as a tour guide. Listen to her, live from my sofa, extrapolate on her experiences, and also about the places she will never go to, because if there is something sure with Magdalena, it's that she is not one to chew her words - or to miss calling me out on my English. No home. No job. No dramas... That's the motto you can find on SLAVA's Instagram account (@earthnomadslava). It is extremely fitting because Slava is a totally chill dude who has left his job and now travels full time across the globe, building a pretty solid Instagram account about his travels, where he not only shares the amazing sights and delicious food he comes across, but also demistifies all the ideas you can have about solo travellers. Listen to him describe his new way of life on the road, what started him on this path, and all the tips and tricks that can help you on your future adventures. Enjoy! NB: the app mentioned in the episode is called "Untapped", for all of you zythophiles. Outro music: Yevhen Onoychenko - This Is Your Time (from Pixabay).
MARRY is a Ukrainian girl from Crimea, who now lives in Poland. I briefly met her there in 2022, through Couchsurfing, and it is truly with her that the idea of this podcast was born. Therefore, it is only fair to devote this first episode to her, to her experiences, and delve into the philosophic and romantic aspects of travelling, with, for example, our love of travel notebooks, and the importance of having a starting song for a journey. For the record, the songs mentioned in the podcast are: "One More Cup of Coffee" by Bob Dylan, and "On The Road Again", by Willie Nilsson. Also mentioned: Blaise Cendrars poem, "La Prose du Transsiberien". Outro music: Yevhen Onoychenko - This Is Your Time - (via Pixabay).
