All right .... I still have reservations about this win but it was great to see Sess score and Wilson strike the ball so beautifully into the net. Wolves are at a low ebb and usually we would be the team to kick start their season - but this time we bucked our usual trend.
Finally, finally ... apologies to our loyal listener (or listeners!!!???) about the delay. We have finally managed to publish our podcast! - looking back at the loss at Newcastle, the underwhelming performance at Wycombe, and the 20 trillion pointer against Wolves on Saturday. What could possibly go wrong?
Tom corrects me on name pronunciation as we bemoan our 3rd defeat in a row. Injury crisis? What injury crisis! As the list gets longer we question the team selection - yet still have faith in the increasingly frustrated Silva.
Black and white balloons being hurled around by the swirling wind and rain, referees ear piece malfunctioning after 35 seconds and yes... another defeat. But at least we witnessed a stunning goal by Sessegnon!
Our 50th episode!!!! Shame it wasn't a match to celebrate. But as a Fulham fan this is absolutely normal. Reviewing this match was difficult - but we try and retain a semblance of objectivity and dignity?!
After a long wait we are back to review the win against Brentford. A disppointing display from the Bees which we capitalised on - with 2 goals which were stunners - one of which was disallowed and a magnificent team goal beautifully taken by Wilson. An Iwobi break through goal which changed the Fulham mindset and ensured we approached the rest of the match positively. We briefly mention the Carabao cup match against Cambridge and Sunday's fixture against Villa.
With my tired metaphors and a dismal performance you would think we'd lost this match. Astonishingly and undeservedly we won. Is Silva's team selection suspect? Can we bear another performance like this? How much expectation will now be on Kevin? Brentford next week....

If a valid goal is scored on a football pitch but VAR can't see it, did the goal ever exist? We get all philosophical in today's pod after the Chelsea Fulham match. We breeze past the Carabao cup match and talk about floodlights and get a little excited about our new signings and bemoan, you guessed it, the glaring Number 6 hole that still remains.
After an intimidating opening by Manchester United, usual service resumed as we fought back from a 0-1 deficit. The draw was deserved and we were treated to a few snippets of promising play!!
We start the 2025/26 season with a draw away against Brighton. I spend most of the pod not understanding what's going on whilst Tom tries to explain. We also make a determined effort to remain upbeat especially with the last gasp goal by Muniz.
Award time! Who will be given best goal of the season is just one of the questions that will be discussed as we review the 2024/25 season as well as 3 areas that need to be addressed ready for next season...
After a really disappointing start, Fulham managed to carve out a few decent chances. And.....All hail Tom Cairney!!!
We fully expected a' big clown shoes' afternoon - but we were gifted a treat in the second half! Beautiful goals to lift the spirits in our penultimate match of the 24/25 season.

Think we've been here before Fulham Fans!?! At least we played well in the first section of the game. We discuss our strengths and why we fail to exploit our opposition when we have the chance and why we continue to sit back when it is a tactic that does not suit our manager or our team.

A perplexing evening which was at least improved after the 77th minute! We acknowledge our over achievement and wonder how else we can progress as the end of the season beckons.
