Welcome to our Fringe Series! This week we will be wrapping up our behind-the-scenes look at the shows taking place this July at The Gargoyle Theatre during the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.
For our last episode, Andrew steps away from the mic to allow Ellen Peterson to interview our very own Rebecca Driedger, who has written and directed a brand new play titled Parasocial for this year's festival. Ellen and Rebecca have been involved with Creative Manitoba's mentorship program.
Parasocial explores online privacy, vulnerability and the dark side of being an internet personality, highlighting how the blurred lines between public persona and personal life can have devastating consequences.
Advance Ticket Sales for the Winnipeg Fringe Festival are live now, so check out all the shows at the Gargoyle this summer.
