In this episode of Literally My Life: My Guide to Girlhood, I’m getting real about something that hit me hard this week—chaos addiction and self-sabotage. For so long, I’ve found myself constantly in the middle of drama, creating problems where there aren’t any, and even pushing away opportunities that could be perfect for me. And the craziest part? I didn’t even realize I was doing it. Growing up in a house full of constant arguments and tension, chaos became my normal. But just because something feels familiar doesn’t mean it’s healthy. This week, after being called out for gossiping about something that had nothing to do with me, I had to face the truth: I was addicted to chaos. And more importantly, I was the one keeping myself stuck in it. So in this episode, we’re unpacking what chaos addiction looks like, why so many of us self-sabotage, and most importantly—how to break the cycle. I’m sharing my personal wake-up call, the boundaries I’m setting to protect my peace, and my new mindset shift: blocking people in real life. Plus, I’m answering some of your Ask Alex questions about setting boundaries, avoiding drama, and letting go of toxic patterns. And before we wrap, I’ve got a HUGE announcement—my brand-new talk show is coming, and I can’t wait to share all the details! If you’ve ever felt like you thrive in chaos or struggle to let go of toxic cycles, this episode is for you. Let’s talk about it.
