To commemorate the 1500th anniversary of the death of St Brigid in 2024, Deirdre Brennan created a series of photographic portraits and conducted interviews with women and children named Brigid. They ranged from six weeks to 106 years of age. This project is an examination of women and children through the lens of Brigid, the saint and goddess.
