WELCOME BACK, LIFTERS! Thank you for joining us after more than a year off. Join us for this special rant about mindfulness in politics and our newest presidential leadership!
It’s our first back to back week of episodes! On this day exactly 200 years ago, the Monroe Doctrine was published (couldn’t have planned it better, even if we tried)! Tune in to see if Taylor Swift’s favorite president was James Monroe… he was the first to ever embark on an Eras Tour!
We are BACK from our break, and onto our 4th president! James Madison, a federalist who came up with checks and balances?! I know right?! Well it’s gonna get even crazier, because we are doing back to back episodes this week! Tune in today and tomorrow for battle of the James’
Jefferson’s presidency is one that surprisingly a lot of layers to it! The focal point, was his push-pull relationship with preceding president John Adams. Listen in to hear about two leaders who cared deeply about humanity in leadership, and the maintenance of propriety among men.
Welcome back Lifters! We’re back on our president run. Sticking to chronological order, we’ve decided to dissect some basic principles of John’s Adams’ leadership style. Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts:)
Ever wonder who started this whole presidency job and created every tradition that we know and love in this nation’s government? That’s right, Washington! But how far have we strayed from the blueprint? Is the president just a figurehead? Wasn’t that the whole point of the genesis of the presidency, to avoid creating another socialistic monarchy? Like, share, follow, and message us!
Official kickoff to season 3 content! This week, is all about the origin of the American President. Once considered a “model” for all forms of leadership… has that changed? You be the judge! We also introduce our first discussion about George Washington… did he forecast the terror that an America divided could have? Tune in! Remember to like, comment, and subscribe!
Welcome back lifters! We are so excited that you are tuned into our season 3 kickoff!! This season is building up on last season’s idea of exploring origins and beginnings, only this time, it’s all about the presidents. Lifting Leadership episodes will examine different presidents and help us figure out how this nation built on togetherness, became a nation divided🇺🇸
This one, will make you sweat, but will hopefully provide you with the tools that you need to have an educated conversation regarding the inhumane act of discrimination CREATED by our government by Redlining acts. Listen, share and send us your feedback or your own stories to share!

You asked for it you got it! By popular demand, another rant for you all. This one we are super proud of, it’s a culmination of a lot of thoughts about the evils of media and grooming, that we think NEEDED to be said. Listen in and don’t forget to register to Vote, our freedoms and choices is an integral part of what makes this country irreplaceable🇺🇸
Sofia is back! As an education and history major, she is here to serve some reality on how segregation has been taught since it’s genesis to now… she also dives into what segregation’s definition really is, depending on the context it’s in. Listen now!
Remember the days of opening up your newspaper and having time to digest the news, and not getting polarized ideas shot at you at light speed on TikTok… with no time to digest what you’ve just heard?! You do? Then you’re in luck, this week is all about what a moderate vote means, and how powerful moderate ideas can be in such a polarized political universe we exist in. The evolution of what a moderate vote/opinion means is astounding… they’re really just people who take a minute to digest who they’re voting for and what they believe in… much like we did once upon a time, in the age of carbon-scented newspapers and intelligent conversations.
This week is one of those weeks where our team really had to test our devotion to the show’s motto, having really uncomfortable, but important and necessary conversations. It’s no secret that harsh language causes a really aggressive and harmful narrative for everyone of every race and culture. We need to recognize that and change the direction these conversations are headed, especially for the next generation. The rhetoric is broken, we’re trying to earn equity with passive aggressive language and blanket statements, and it’s just simply not going to work.

Here we are again ranting ourselves into a circle. We are joined by three more beautiful minds to talk about global warming, politics, and money. Like, share, comment new ideas :)
This week it’s back to basics. Everyone needs to be reminded of where they came from, so that’s what we decided to do! We dive into our main original objectives of why we created this podcast in the first place. Spoiler alert… it has A LOT to do with LISTENING to each other. Try it sometimes, kids! Until next week:)
A day after the 21st anniversary of the tragic day 9/11, we reflect on the origin of our great heroes. How did the police and other forms of law enforcement/safety begin? Do those beginnings influence how different members of our nation see law enforcement today, particularly police officers. We dig deep, but it gets good and enlightened! Share with your friends and have important conversations with those who you wouldn’t ever think to.
This week is all about discovering different perspectives and how they see our same world; more specifically tapping into young minds and asking them what their initial thoughts of media were. To kick this segment off, we have Ava Cuchiarale and her incredible insight on what makes today’s media and generation, different than others. This sets the tone for understanding why people believe what they believe! Enjoy:)
Welcome back everyone! We’re back with a really heavy, but VERY important topic. This was hard to get through and hits close to home during this time of strife in the nation, but is ESSENTIAL to discuss. We need to stop having amnesia and desensitization to these shootings. Is it terrifying? Sure. But breaking it down and learning about the history of these tragedies, really brings awakening on how differing sides could come TOGETHER and make a big difference. Learning about this and wanting to prevent them from happening, does not mean we hate guns or want them taken away from people; instead it means we care about the world and just want a little more control in who’s pulling that trigger. Give it a listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, it’s a must listen if you want the right sort of change.
