Both involve aligning internal experiences with external expressions, often challenging societal expectations. Misconceptions exist: vulnerability isn't weakness, and authenticity doesn't mean oversharing. Listening to your body, starting small, and giving yourself grace are key to developing these traits.Defining Vulnerability and Authenticity:
- Vulnerability: willingness to express true emotions, thoughts, and feelings despite risks
- Authenticity: alignment between inner experience and outward expression
- Both concepts viewed through psychological, biological, and spiritual lenses
