Let's Talk: GMG Tina Njoku

•Tina Njoku a Canadian-based Nigerian gospel artist. Her musical journey began at the age of 12, deeply rooted in the vibrant life of the local church. While her mother served in the church drama ministry, Tina found her voice in the choir. A defining moment came during an annual Thanksgiving service when she was chosen to lead praise and worship. Theoverwhelming response from the congregation awakened something in her. Tina realized music was more than a passion; it was a divine calling.•Encouraged by that early affirmation, she began to take music seriously. Tina Njoku served in various ministries and, in2007, released her debut album, “Hear Me.” Though it came with setbacks and unmet expectations, it laid the foundation for what would become a journey of faith and transformation.•Due to Tina’s relocation to a different state, her music vocation took a pause. She eventually explored Afro-pop andhip-hop, performing internationally and shooting music ideas, including one in Dubai. She gained exposure and valuable experience, but she still felt something was missing.•On January 4, 2016, everything changed. I had a powerful encounter with God. I had a vision in my spirit where it feltlike God was speaking directly to me, saying: “Use your voice as an instrument to glorify Me.” That encounter reshaped my view of faith, worship, and life. Still, it was not until 2024 that I fully bowed to God’s calling. Since that moment, He has proven faithful in every way.•She aims to inspire listeners through her music, encouraging them to embrace hope, love, and joy. •The latest EP “I Wonder” featuring three tracks is available for downloads and streaming on all digital platforms.
