What were you doing at 1PM on November 11th, 1975? Chances are you weren't even born, but even if you weren't, the government that was dismissed by Governor-General John Kerr was revolutionary both in its achievements and its downfall.
Damo, Clancy and Feeby recap the achievements, the happenings and the downfall of Edward Gough Whitlam and the ALP of the 1970s.

**CONTENT WARNING**
28th April 1996 sees the beginning one of the darkest incidents in Australian history - Martin Bryant, in possession of a number of firearms, fatally shoots 35 people and wounds 23 in and around the historic tourist attraction, Port Arthur, about an hour away from Hobart in Tasmania's far south-east, with the perpetrator being captured the next day, April 29th, after a shootout with police.
Martin Bryant is tried, pleads guilty and is sentenced to 35 consecutive life sentences in Hobart's Risdon Prison – basically a death sentence without the execution.
Join Phoebe, Clancy and Damo as they discuss the precedents, the lead-up, the events and the aftermath.

Back in 1993, Australia (coming off of a recession) had a federal election - the incumbent Labor Party led by Paul Keating were staving off a challenge from the resurgent Liberal Party led by Dr. John Hewson.
Dr. John Hewson, former RBA economist and director of Macquarie Bank, effectively had one hand on the keys to Kirribilli - until a question about a birthday cake undid his good efforts.
In this political retrospective, Damo, Feebie and Clancy look at what happened and give their thoughts on the good and the bad (and the ugly) of what happened. We also have a lot of laughs, and Damo learns about the female use of condoms...
