PG&E was formed in the Gold Rush, and has been a central part of California's power scene for over a century. But being big doesn't always mean being good. This week, we're doing a deep dive into PG&E - past, present, and future. Critics blame them for starting thousands of wildfires in northern California, including the Camp Fire, which killed 86 people. Are these fires the result of simple accidents? Or is there something more sinister driving these fiery catastrophes?

Learn Baby, Burn - Episode 1: An Introduction to Prescribed Fire
This podcast, distributed by the Michigan Prescribed Fire Council, is meant to educate the public on the existence and purpose of prescribed fire. Prescribed fire, or intentionally lit fires, have been used for tens of thousands of years as a way to naturally regenerate the land.
