On this International Girls in ICT Day, we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate women and girls trailblazing the Tech space and more importantly provide a platform where they can be able to share their journeyed stories into the world of Technology and create awareness about the different career opportunities that are in the horizon for women and girls alike.

In this Ep, we speak to a beneficiary of ACWICT’s Digital skilling programs Ms. Gladys Wangari who works as a Digital Freelancer for Microsoft’s Universal Human Relevance Systems and is also a specialist in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, we also explore her journey into AI & Machine learning highlighting the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic had on her career as a Geothermal expert and how through grit and determination was able to discover a new career path

We also address our theme of the Episode *encouraging inclusivity in the Digital Space” and the importance of The National Government, learning institutions and organizations within the ICT4 Development space to come together to make use of Digital and social media to scale up awareness on opportunities in the tech and STEM career paths
