This week’s episode guest is Tova Olsson who has been teaching yoga and meditation for nearly 20 years. Aepril Schaile, MFA is a performance artist/priestess/poet with a dance practice rooted in the ancient and ever-evolving art of Bellydance. She has taught and performed at curated events in Paris, London, Rome, New York, and throughout Europe and the United States.
Aepril shamanistically becomes Trickster, Warrior, Ghost, Storm, Grieving Mother, Killer, Graal, Seductress. She draws deeply from her immersement in the natural world, occult art/science, witchcraft, yoga and archetypal psychology, creating visceral and aetheral ritual theatre. Each performance is intended to create and convey a world.

"Poetry is a practice of deep inquiry. Poems reveal themselves to me much like an oracle; yet, each poem also becomes a spell. Poems are a way for me to express kinesthetic, emotional body experience in a sculpture of words. They are an internal form of Performance Art. They are themselves music. Some say poetry is dead; it is not. It is homeopathic medicine for a time in which we move too fast, as it asks us to slow down and look again, and again. To imagine for ourselves. To be present. And to feel."

This week’s episode is a solo episode with me, infused with the insights and energy from this New Moon in Aquarius portal and inspiration that I have received from our ceremony and circle. This week’s podcast guest, Dr Joanna Kujawa, is the author of The Other Goddess: Mary Magdalene and the Goddesses of Eros and Secret Knowledge, scholar, and spiritual detective. She received her BA and MA from the Pontifical Institute for Mediaeval Studies at the University of Toronto, Canada, and her PhD from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
As an active academic for over 20 years, she uses her scholarly training to investigate topics other academics often pass over, such as: Can spirituality and sexuality be experienced as one? Who was the real Mary Magdalene? Is there a lineage of Goddesses now resurfacing in our collective experience of spirituality? Apart from her writings for academic publications on spiritual travel, Joanna has also had her short stories and essays published through various media and in many prestigious anthologies, including Best Australian Stories, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, She Rises.
