Alternative LaLiga Awards: End of Season Show
Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp have trawled through this season's stats and compiled a list of alternative LaLiga awards. Forget your player or coach of the year trophy, these awards are for players who don't always get the headlines. For example, The ‘you can’t pick Jude Bellingham’ POTY Award goes to an incredible young talent who has been lighting up the league since he first took to the field last August. There's also the ‘Jamie Kemp Statistical Anomaly’ Award, the ‘Glue Guy’ Award and lots more. In reality, it's just a chance for Jamie and Robbie to look back through the year and pick out some players, managers and teams who have caught their eye. They also cast their eye on next season and which teams might be in need of an overhaul, where there are a few contenders for who needs to look at this the most.

Another Real Madrid Comeback Special
Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp discuss Real Madrid's incredible season, one that even Carlo Ancelotti says he didn't imagine was possible. They have already sealed LaLiga and are in another Champions League final after beating Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday night in typical Madrid fashion. They chat about the team's improved balance and the team's defensive mentality. They also wax lyrical about Toni Kroos’ effect. He completed the most passes (173), long passes (24) and created the most chances (7) of any player across the four teams in the semi-finals.  They also discuss Vinicius and his overall production this season, which has reached a new pinnacle. His 156 minutes per non-penalty goal this season is best mark of his Real Madrid career. They also discuss how Kylian Mbappé's arrival could affect the squad and tactical balance.

Logic-Defying Girona
On this week’s episode, Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp welcome Abel Meszaros onto the podcast to discuss the logic-defying Girona's season. They are on the brink of Champions League football next season and are already playing some of the most attacking football in Europe, despite not having a star-laden squad.  Together with Abel, they discuss Girona's adaptive build-up and the role of Miguel Gutierrez as part of that. They also discuss Savio's emergence as one of the best wingers in the world but also reflect upon the defensive side of the ball where Girona struggle. They wrap things up by discussing the summer and what will, no doubt, be a busy summer for Michel and Girona's recruitment team.

An Existential Experience
On this week’s episode, Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp go back through an existential crisis-inducing Champions League week. It feels like the end of an era for Barcelona, who succumbed to PSG with their lowest percentage of possession in the Champions League since Opta started recording this stat. Robbie and Jamie talk about Xavi and Luis Enrique's approaches and where Barcelona go from here. On the same night, Atlético Madrid lost to Borussia Dortmund and are also looking at the end of an era with a massive summer planned to rebuild their squad. And then Real Madrid come out and beat Manchester City on penalties in one of the most bizarre games in recent Champions League history. Man City’s field tilt in the game was 89% - the highest Opta have on record for a Champions League KO stage game without any red cards and they had 88 touches in the opposition box, compared to 12 for Real Madrid. This was utter domination on a statistical level but Robbie and Jamie try their best to explain the inexplicable as Real Madrid march on.

Champions League Quarter-Finals Review
On the latest episode, Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp are joined by Jon Mackenzie of the Athletic to discuss the Champions League quarter-finals (of course, with a heavy focus on the Spanish sides involved). Starting with Real Madrid’s 3-3 draw with Manchester City, the guys discuss how chaos emerged from a match-up that pits together control versus transitions, the role of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo in that, as well as what might change for the second leg in Manchester. After that, attentions turned to the game in Paris where Barcelona registered one of their most memorable victories of the Xavi era. They analyse why his side seem to be at their best in more dynamic games, and highlight some of the key players from Barcelona’s upturn in form since Xavi announced he would step down. Finally, they finish off with a briefer nod to Atletico Madrid’s win at home to Borussia Dortmund. Although as we know with Diego Simeone’s side, their difficulties on the road this season mean it’s a tie that’s certainly not done yet.

Copa del Rey Final Analysis
On this week’s episode, Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp take a look back at the Copa del Rey final that saw Athletic Bilbao beat Mallorca for their first major trophy in 40 years. After 131 minutes, 43 shots, 62 crosses, 40 fouls involving 34 players, it's hard to know where to begin, but they start with Ernesto Valverde and Javier Aguirre, two dons of Spanish football. They discuss the general overview of the games, substitutes and why Valverde took off Beñat Prados. They also discuss Nico Williams, Oihan Sancet and a lot more on Athletic Club's brilliant season and squad depth. They finish up chatting about Aguirre's future and Mallorca's fight against relegation. There was a list of potential replacements reported if Aguirre leaves and it includes Diego Martinez, Ruud van Nistlerooy and Eder Sarabia.

Big Summer Transfers
On this week’s episode, Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp discuss players who could be on the move to much bigger clubs in the summer. They discuss Robert Navarro's situation at Real Sociedad and where he might fit in along with Jorgen Strand Larsen and Mika Marmol plus more. They also try to find the best fits for these players given the level they're currently playing at.  They also touch on some Segunda players who have caught the eye from Real Oviedo's two full-backs, Abel Bretones and Viti Rozada, and Alejandro Francés plus podcast favourite, Peru Nolaskoain.  They also, as ever, have compiled three interesting stats from the weekend's action that caught the eye. From Girona's long and fluid build-up for goals to the return of Real Sociedad's lean and mean defence. They also discuss the emergence of Beñat Prados as a force to be reckoned with in Athletic Club's midfield.

The Truth Behind Real Sociedad’s Late-Season ‘Collapse’
On this week’s episode, Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp begin with the latest edition of ‘Stat Corner’ – among the three topics for this week: they heap praise on the marvellous Savio from Girona as he puts together a season not seen by a youngster since Sergio Agüero back in 2007 with Atlético Madrid and Giorgi Mamardashvili threatening Álvaro Valles' claim to being the best goalkeeper in La Liga this season.  They also discuss, briefly, Rafa Benítez's Celta Vigo departure and take a look at the Segunda where there have been a couple of sackings and some big results in a wide open title race. After that, they dig into Real Sociedad's performances recently. The results haven't been good but the stats haven't been wildly different to the form that saw them top their Champions League group. They explain the mitigating circumstances behind the dip and where they go from here.

The Madrid Derby Review
On this week's podcast, Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp discuss what Diego Simeone called a 'weird game' - we can only be talking about the Madrid derby. Real Madrid dominated for the opening 30 minutes and took the lead but were too passive in finishing off the game. Our duo focu their attention on Brahim Diaz's influence on the game, Simeone's muddled tactics and what caused them and Atlético's midfield selection. They also discuss three stats from La Liga that caught their eye this weekend including: Aleix Garcia's lowest touch total of the season against Real Sociedad. Athletic Bilbao's incredible home form as they prepare for the Copa del Rey semi-final showdown against Atlético Madrid. And Samu Omorodion becoming the youngest player this century to score home and away against Barcelona in a La Liga campaign.

The Reasons Behind Athletic Bilbao’s Improvement This Season
On this week's episode, Robbie Dunne and Jamie Kemp sit down and discuss the stats behind Athletic Bilbao's 14-game unbeaten run. Athletic and Real Madrid are the only two teams who are top five ranked for both goals scored and fewest goals conceded. The combination of a ‘prime years’ Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta and ever-improving Oihan Sancet gives them a class and precision in midfield they’ve not had for a long time. The Williams Brothers look sharper than ever before and the Dani Vivian - Aitor Paredes partnership at the back was made to weather any storm Athletic Club face. They also discuss Xavi's spiralling situation at Barcelona and what's going wrong. They were recently beaten 4-1 by Real Madrid and neither Xavi's tactics or press conferences explaining them are convincing anyone.

After a hugely important win for Xavi’s side, they analyse what changed and why they were able to produce one of their best performances in months, along with what went wrong for the visitors. And of course, that man João Félix had plenty to do with it…
