Wow! Okay this is turn from our usual! Lorena and I are packed max with school and work and managing our lives so for this episode we decided to take a turn! We've always been so interested in true crime and there were nights where we would stay up until all hours of the night watching 'Forensic Files'! Now this episode is all about the murder of Kim Sung-Jae! The night he made his debut as a soloist he died under mysterious circumstances! Give this episode a listen and listen to what happened to Kim Sung-Jae who was taken from the world at the age of 23. He was an incredible talent and had such a huge respect for music and he is a major influence to Kpop today.
Hey look at this a new episode! This time we are talking about the Co-ed group KARD! First these guys are freaking BOMB!! In this episode we will be going over some general information of each member and guessing their positions, and being amazing by their talent! Member J-Seph will be enlisted in the Army soon so best of luck to him and we hope he stays safe and healthy while he is away! KARD has quickly taken over the western part of the world and they are making their way to be just as big in Korea! Their ever changing styles shows how impressive they are and their dynamic as a group is something that is awe inspiring! Next week will be Part 2 of KARD where we go over favorites and if KARD has their first win yet (Spoiler Alert: Not yet and that is mind blowing) Don't forget to tune in and listen!
Season 2!! Hello and howdy do! I told you we’d be back with another group and I didn’t lie! This week we’ll start with part 1 of Rocket Punch. This rookie group has some catchy tunes under their belt so they are definitely worth knowing! Get to know some of the members’ quirks so you know the girls behind the music. Come back next week and we’ll talk about our Rocket Punch must-hears and much more since you know we go off topic at least 10 times an episode! Thanks! Bye!
Hello and good day to all who listen to this podcast! I know you waited a week but we are back with some more TXT! This week we’re talking bias, songs, music videos, the whole enchilada! They don’t have many music videos but they are far deeper than you might think, thankfully Sierra has provided us with a theory (from bookish theories on YouTube) that might help you see just how intricate they really are. Hope you enjoy listening today and we’ll see you next time so we can introduce you to another great group! Bye!
Hola K-pop hermanos y hermanas! Saying hello everytime is a little boring so I wanted to change it up a bit. As always welcome back, this week we’ll talk about some super rookies, Tomorrow x Together AKA TXT! Personally I prefer TXT because, well it’s shorter and easier. BTS’s hoobae ( junior) group is making a name for itself very fast with great quality music and performances. Today we’ll give you some information on each member so you know a little bit about who you’re listening to. As usual we’ll definitely go off topic a bit so bear with us even though we’re extremely random. Anyway, enjoy the episode and make sure to come back next week for our favorites, bias, and some music video analysis!
Hello everyone! Welcome back to Kpop Tea, quite possibly the most disorganized podcast ever; but hey you’re listening so something’s working! This week we decided to teach you guys a little bit about BVNDIT, Chung Ha’s little sister group! They are just starting out and don’t have much music as of yet so this will be a one parter (not a word) but it’s a fun one! As always you’ll learn about the members, the group’s discography, and our favorites! Hopefully this episode will encourage you to listen to BVNDIT and encourage you to follow their growth within the industry. Thanks for stopping by, see you next week!
Before we start I have to give a disclaimer, this episode has some talk of mental health, depression, and it also has a lot of dark emotions blended in and some slight history lessons so this will hopefully be not too long of an episode but this is important. Hi everyone, thanks for tuning in again! As I mentioned last week we’ll be talking about Agust D again! He only has two albums so far, but we’ll go over our favorite songs and lyrics that stuck out to us. We’ll also talk about some theories behind his most recent music video Daechwita; a lot of fans have come up with some really cool explanations for what it depicts so we hope you enjoy listening! Agust D is an artist that raps about a lot of sensitive and emotional topics. In this episode we discuss some serious topics such as depression, anxiety, etc. Despite the fact that some of the things we’ll be talking about are sad, we enjoyed recording this episode, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as well. Thank you, we’ll be back next week!
Hello and welcome back everyone! Before we start I have to give a disclaimer, this episode has some talk of mental health, depression, and it also has a lot of dark emotions blended in and some slight history lessons so this will hopefully be not too long of an episode but this is important. Today’s episode is about Agust D, if you’re an Army you probably also know this artist as Suga from BTS! Agust D is Suga’s solo name and alter ego. Although he is a soloist we thought it was appropriate to record two episodes for Agust D, because we have a lot to cover! As always in this episode you’ll learn a little bit about Agust/Suga. He is a very complex and interesting person that has worked hard in the music industry for many years. We hope you can gain an appreciation for him after learning a little bit about where he comes from. Tune in next week to hear our favorites and discuss what his songs and music videos explore. See you next time!
