Welcome to the podcast ‘A Phenomenology: The Non-Origin Content of the Book of Mormon’. My name is Lyle Davis. This podcast is meant to be a reflection of my individual lived experience with the Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is further meant to unpack what the Book of Mormon is all about rather than focusing on the origin of the Book of Mormon. Or in other words, if we were to set aside for the time being how the Book of Mormon was brought forth, and focus on what the Book of Mormon teaches, what would we be left with? Another way to think about this is, in general terms what does the Book of Mormon ask an individual to do and what kind of people does the Book of Mormon inspire people to become? This discussion is meant to highlight, what I will for this podcast, call the non-origin content of the Book of Mormon.
