Damiano is a young man and lives his everyday life being carried along by events, until suddenly life takes him to Mozambique. It's a place he gets to know through the eyes of an inexperienced traveller. He searches for the girl he has fallen madly in love with, who seems to have disappeared. Following her trail, Damiano crosses a country that surprises him with its dynamism, its contrasts, the presence of international interests, and its environmental and social challenges. But also with its music, art, activism, superstition—his own and others'.   "Kill Me Now" is a podcast that aims to bring European and Mozambican audiences closer together through mutual cultural, geographical, and socioeconomic understanding. These are two worlds that, for different reasons, are going through a season of great change. And it is precisely change that lies at the heart of the MUDAR project, which promotes urban development and the well-being of the population of Beira, Mozambique, through public administration training, digitisation of services, and urban regeneration designed from the bottom up.   To learn more about the project, follow @mudarbeira on Instagram and Facebook or visit www.mudarbeira.org "Kill Me Now" is available in Italian, Portuguese, and English.   It is a podcast produced by oSuonoMio in collaboration with the Centre for International Cooperation for MUDAR, a project co-funded by the European Union and led by the Autonomous Province of Trento, through the ‘Partnership for Sustainable Cities’ programme.

Kill Me Now | Ep.1 - The Bet
Damiano works as a cook at Rigoletto, a typical trattoria that has changed clientele a few months ago. A series of positive reviews have completely transformed the restaurant and lengthened the waiting lists. For some time now, a feeling of rejection of the food has grown in him and he is contemplating quitting his job. During an argument between customers he ends up in the emergency room, where he meets Tina.
