Carolyn Clifford is a 22-time Emmy Award-winning journalist who anchors the 4, 6, and 11 pm newscasts in the city of Detroit. She has traveled the world working with the WXYZ Detroit News since 2002. She has been inducted into the Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame, as well as was awarded the Best News Anchor in 2021 and 2022. She is dedicated to giving back to her city locally through non-profits while covering news all over the country. She has even explored the White House during her life-changing interview with former U.S. President, Barack Obama. Carolyn Clifford is a mother, a wife, an MSU spartan, and a proud Detroiter.
