After a long night with no sleep, a run in with a jogger, and his dog has left Sophie, shaken, but she is forced to continue on with her day-to-day life wondering when Fitz will show up.

How could she and Amy be sisters? Amy was definitely human. Her parents were too-she’d herd enough of their thoughts to know they weren’t hiding any secret powers. and if she was an elf…. The room spun and she lowered her head into her hands. She tried to concentrate on breathing: inhale-exhale-and repeat. Sophie struggles with the fact that her parents might not be her real parents.

The scenery blurred-but whether it was From tears or panic Sophie couldn’t be sure. Everything she new was wrong. Her entire life was a lie. Sophie finds out where she belongs and that she’s not quite a normal elf.

Sorry it’s been so long but I’m back now! Sophie learns the secret of what she is and travels to a city with a strange boy. Fitz tells her that everything she’s known and learned is wrong! She must start over……
