How to be productive even when you feel lazy

Hello and welcome to the podcast. This episode is on how to be productive even when you feel lazy. My name is Johnson Valentis, and today we'll be talking about some tips and tricks you can use to overcome that feeling of laziness and get things done. We've all been there before - you wake up in the morning, and you just don't feel like doing anything. You might feel tired, uninspired, or simply unmotivated. But the truth is, productivity doesn't always come naturally. It takes effort, focus, and discipline to get things done, especially when you're feeling lazy. So, how can you be productive even when you feel lazy? Let's dive in. Tip #1: Set Clear Goals and Priorities One of the best ways to overcome laziness is to have a clear idea of what you want to accomplish. Set specific goals for yourself, and prioritize them based on their importance. Write them down, and create a plan for how you'll achieve them. This will give you a sense of direction and purpose, and help you stay on track even when you don't feel like doing anything. Tip #2: Break Tasks into Smaller Chunks Sometimes, the thought of tackling a big task can be overwhelming, and that can make you feel even lazier. To overcome this, break your tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks. This will make them seem less daunting and more achievable, and help you get started even when you don't feel like it. Tip #3: Create a Routine Another great way to overcome laziness. This means setting a schedule for when you'll work, and sticking to it as much as possible. By creating a routine, you'll create a sense of structure and discipline in your life, which will help you stay productive even when you don't feel like it. Tip #4: Eliminate Distractions Distractions can be a major source of laziness. Whether it's your phone, social media, or other forms of entertainment, distractions can make it difficult to focus on the task at hand. To overcome this, eliminate as many distractions as possible. Put your phone on silent, turn off notifications, and find a quiet, distraction-free space to work in. Tip #5: Practice Self-Care Taking care of yourself is important for staying productive, even when you feel lazy. This means getting enough sleep, eating well, and staying active. When you're well-rested, nourished, and energized, you'll be more motivated to tackle your tasks and get things done. Tip #6: Reward Yourself Finally, don't forget to reward yourself for your hard work. This can be something as simple as taking a break, treating yourself to your favorite snack, or indulging in a relaxing activity. By rewarding yourself, you'll create a sense of positive reinforcement, which will help you stay motivated and productive in the long run. In conclusion, being productive even when you feel lazy is all about taking small, intentional steps to overcome your lack of motivation. By setting clear goals, breaking tasks into smaller chunks, creating a routine, eliminating distractions, practicing self-care, and rewarding yourself, you'll be able to stay on track and get things done, even on days when you don't feel like it. Remember, productivity is a mindset, and with the right mindset, anything is possible. Thank you for listening to this podcast on how to be productive even when you feel lazy. I hope you found these tips helpful, and I wish you all the best on your productivity journey! ~Love Johnson Valentis For any enquires Tagged on the video you can call my assistant via +254790166365 OR email me directly via valentisjohnson@gmail.com OR use the comment section down below I read all your comments. In my Independent Boss Babe Era

Hello and welcome to the Johnson Valentis podcast. Today we're going to dive deep into the topic of the "Independent Boss Babe Era". As a content creator, podcaster, and medical student, you're likely familiar with the term "boss babe". But what does it truly mean to be an independent boss babe, and how can this mindset help you achieve success?

Being an independent boss babe means taking ownership of your career and your life, and not relying on anyone else for validation or support. It means being self-motivated, disciplined, and confident in your abilities, and trusting your own instincts to guide you towards your goals.

One of the key benefits of being an independent boss babe is the freedom to create your own path. You're not bound by the expectations of others or the limitations of traditional career paths. Instead, you have the flexibility to pursue your passions and explore new opportunities.

But being independent doesn't mean doing everything on your own. It's important to build a support network of like-minded individuals who can offer advice, encouragement, and collaboration. This could include mentors, peers, or even virtual communities of fellow content creators or medical students.

So how can you cultivate an independent boss babe mindset? Here are some tips to consider:

As I navigate the challenges of being a content creator, podcaster, and medical student, I always remember that I have the power to create your own path and define your own success. Being an independent boss babe means embracing your unique strengths and talents, and using them to create something truly remarkable. Thanks for tuning into the Johnson Valentis podcast, and we'll see you next time.

She is Not A Gold Digger: Maternal Instinct vs Material Wealth

Welcome to this monologue on the topic of Material Wealth versus Maternal Instinct. In this episode, we explore the complex relationship that exists between a woman's desire for financial independence and success, and her innate maternal instincts to care for her children and family.

As women, we often face the pressure to balance our professional and personal lives, while navigating the societal expectations and norms that define success. The desire for material wealth can be alluring, providing us with the financial security and independence we crave. However, this can come at the cost of our maternal instincts, which pull us towards prioritizing our children and families over our own aspirations.

In this monologue, we dive deep into the nuances of this tension, examining the societal structures and expectations that contribute to it. We explore the importance of reframing success beyond financial achievements and discuss the need to find a sense of purpose and fulfillment that encompasses both maternal instincts and personal growth.

Through personal anecdotes and reflections, we offer insights into how to navigate this tension and find a balance between material wealth and maternal instincts. We provide practical tips on how to align our personal and professional goals with our maternal instincts, and ways to cultivate a sense of purpose and fulfillment that acknowledges both.

Whether you are a working mother, stay-at-home mom, or someone grappling with the decision to start a family, this monologue offers a thought-provoking and insightful perspective on the complexities of material wealth versus maternal instinct.

How Prioritizing Yourself and Putting You First Will Boost Your Self Confidence. 4 Tips To Boost Your Esteem~ Part 2

Hello Everyone I am your host Johnson Valentis Last session we looked at 6 Tips to build your confidence. In this session, we continue with our Self Confidence Booster Below is a transcript of the session: I hope you will enjoy it.

Stalk me on:

Today we will be looking at tips to build your self-confidence. In my previous post, I was able to give you guys six tips so this article is basically part 2 of yesterday’s post. If you've not read the previous article I would recommend you check it out before you go through this one. Because it's going to make much sense when you have prior knowledge of the first six tips. I think everything is crucial and if you're feeling a little bit laggy to do this, I'm just gonna do a recap on what I wrote in the article.

Recap

One of the tips we looked at was ‘’Look at what you've already achieved’’ This is a very vital move; you need to identify your strength and weaknesses. The second point was ‘’Set Goals’’ which we discussed its relation to the achievement aspect, which brings about high esteem. Thirdly, we mentioned  ‘’Take time off Social Media platform,’’ so as to avoid comparison where you just end up comparing yourself to these influencers out there and other people. You must acknowledge that in life there will always be someone who's above you and someone who is below you. The comparison comes up easily when you consume excess social media content. I talked about it much more in-depth in the previous article. Number 5 we looked at ‘’Getting a Hobby’’ and we talked about how getting a hobby or getting something that you're interested in and passionate about; makes you more motivated and you are likely to build the skills you need in that particular platform more quickly.

Finally, we looked at, ‘’Working on yourself and doing what makes you feel better and more confident.’’ I feel like at this point we just rush through it. So I'm just going to start off with this tip.

  1. Work on Yourself and Do what Makes You Feel More Confident

Sometimes you just have to take a step back and focus on yourself. I feel like most of the time we tend to live in this cycle of ‘’what does he or she think about me’’, especially in the African Culture. I am a firstborn and every other African firstborn can attest to this. We often live in this imagery that we've created around ourselves; the imagery of wanting to be perfect, we want to appear perfectly fine to our siblings because we are just constantly bombarded with this notion that we are the role models of the family. So you constantly have this pressure of being better; the pressure of setting standards that they can live by all and following whatever you are told, the career path chosen for you which may not be entirely your passion.

How to Build Self Confidence and Boost Your Self Esteem. 6 Tips That You Should Implement in Your Confidence Journey

Hello and welcome to the first launch of the month here is the new topic that we will be working around this coming month of July. CONFIDENCE.

Stalk me on:

Tips for building self-confidence

There are a number of things you can do to build your confidence. Some of them

are just small changes to your frame of mind; others you’ll have to work on for a

a bit longer to make their familiar habits.

1. Look at what you’ve already achieved

It’s easy to lose confidence if you believe you haven’t achieved anything. Make a

list of all the things you’re proud of in your life, whether it’s getting a good mark

on an exam or learning to surf. Keep the list close by and add to it whenever you

do something you’re proud of. When you’re low in confidence, pull out the list

and use it to remind yourself of all the awesome stuff you've done.

2. Think of things you're good at Look At your Strengths and weaknesses

Everyone has strengths and talents. What are yours? Recognizing what you’re

good at, and trying to build on those things, will help you to build confidence in

your own abilities.

3. Set some goals

Set some goals and set out the steps you need to take to achieve them. They

don’t have to be big goals; they can even be things like baking a cake or planning

a night out with friends. Just aim for some small achievements that you can tick

off a list to help you gain confidence in your ability to get stuff done.

4. Take time off from Social media

5. Get a hobby

Try to find something that you’re really passionate about. It could be

photography, sport, knitting, or anything else! When you’ve worked out your

passion, commit yourself to give it a go. Chances are, if you’re interested or

passionate about a certain activity, you’re more likely to be motivated and you’ll

build skills more quickly.

6. Work on yourself Do what makes you feel better and more confident
