Anbetung wird oft mit Musik und Kunst in Verbindung gebracht. Das ist zwar richtig, geht aber noch viel tiefer. Im Grunde genommen bedeutet Anbetung, etwas dem höchsten Wert beizumessen. Wahre Anbetung umfasst unser ganzes Wesen – unsere Gefühle, unseren Willen und unser Denken. Gott hat uns geschaffen, um ihn anzubeten, und wir alle beten etwas an. Letztendlich ist Gott der Einzige, der der Anbetung würdig ist, und er ist eifersüchtig, wenn andere Dinge angebetet werden.

Worship is often associated with music and the arts. While this is true, it goes much deeper. On a basic level, worship is assigning ultimate value to something. True worship engages our entire being - emotions, will, and thinking. God has made us to worship, and we all worship something. Ultimately, God is the only one worthy of worship, and he is jealous if other things are worshipped.
