Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Romans 1:16-17

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
ROMANS 1:16-17

DEVOTION
Based on Romans 1
Paul declares boldly that he’s not ashamed of the gospel because it carries the very power of God to save. The gospel reveals God’s righteousness and invites us to live not by effort, but by faith. From the first moment we believe to our final breath, it is faith that sustains us.

The gospel isn’t just good advice—it’s good news. It transforms hearts, restores hope, and brings eternal life to everyone who believes. Don’t hide the light you’ve received. Be confident in its power. God’s truth is alive; through faith, we become vessels of that power to the world.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, I praise You for the Gospel—the good news that brings salvation, hope, and purpose. You are mighty to save and faithful to redeem.

CONFESSION: I confess when I’ve hesitated to share my faith or live boldly. I’ve let fear or shame quiet the power of Your truth in me.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for saving me through faith, not by works. Thank You that Your righteousness is given, not earned, and I can walk freely as Your child.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, make me bold. Let me live unashamed of Your Gospel. Strengthen my faith daily and help me reflect Your righteousness. Give me the courage to speak the truth, love others, and carry the message of salvation wherever I go. May my life be a testimony to the power of Your grace.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, You are the Creator of all and we give you our sincerest praise. We come before You with an attitude of reverence and humility, confessing our need for Your grace and strength. Enable us to live lives of unswerving conviction and spiritual courage, knowing that our faith is a sure foundation on which to stand. Give us the strength not to be swayed by doubt or despair, but instead entrusting ourselves fully in Your sovereign will and purpose for our lives. Help us to remain steadfast in our faithfulness to You and Your Word as we live out our lives, facing whatever challenges come our way. We praise You for Your faithfulness that never fails and the promise of a glorious future in Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
