Episode 1425 - Jarvis Kingston Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Says Th
Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Jeremiah 18:4

In God’s hands, our struggles become tools for transformation.

Today's devotional focuses on Jeremiah, a prophet chosen by God to declare judgment on Judah. During the reign of King Josiah, Jeremiah was called by God to deliver a message of judgment to the people of Judah. Despite facing severe persecution and rejection, Jeremiah remained faithful to his calling.
STORY
Bible in a Year: The Broken Pot
Scripture
Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

Jeremiah 18:5-6
Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the challenges God has called you to face?

Jeremiah’s story is a profound example of unwavering faith in the midst of adversity. Called to be a prophet during a time of great sin in Judah, Jeremiah had the daunting task of declaring God’s judgment. What would you do if your mission was met with anger and violence?

Despite the fierce opposition, Jeremiah’s commitment never wavered. God revealed to him that His judgment was like a potter shaping clay—intended to mold Judah into something beautiful. How often do we see our hardships as opportunities for transformation?

Jeremiah’s courage came from his deep trust in God’s plan. He understood that true obedience often involves suffering, but it also leads to profound spiritual growth. How can you find strength to endure your trials, knowing that God is at work in your life?

Jeremiah’s visions and experiences teach us that God’s discipline is not merely punitive but redemptive. Just as the potter works carefully to shape the clay, God uses our struggles to refine and prepare us for His purposes. Are there areas in your life where you need to submit to God’s shaping hand?

REFLECTION
Reflect on the ways God might be using your current circumstances to shape and refine you. Are there aspects of your character or faith that need to be molded? Trust that God’s intentions are for your ultimate good and His glory.

Spend time in prayer, asking God to reveal His purposes in your trials and to give you the strength to endure with faith.

FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: FAITHFULNESS
Finish one task you started earlier this week.

The reason that we pray, is because we go to God for the things that we cannot do for ourselves.

PRAYER
And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
JEREMIAH 18:4
As the words of today's reading echoes deep in my ears may the truths be etched on my heart like tattoos. For today is the day that I accept my call to be set apart and consecrated to do great works for Your name, Heavenly Father. When doubts begin to arise in my mind, like Jeremiah I thank You that Your world will rise up within me like a flame and burn all limiting beliefs that seek to hold me back. Your Word in Jeremiah 1:5 says that before I was in my mother's womb You had already called me. So I thank You that no name, no words, no harmful lies that were ever spoken over my life can bear any weight, because before they spoke them You already spoke blessing of purpose over me. Whether I had people who believed in me or people who doubted me it doesn't take away from my calling and my destiny. Therefore, like Jeremiah I will stand tall and speak what You tell me to speak. I will build what You called me to build, knowing that nothing can stop the momentum of my life because the potter of my life has me on His wheel of destiny and in His hands! I am molded and created for greatness and I thank You Lord that through You it shall be done! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Episode 1424 - Jarvis Kingston For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. -Isaiah 41:13
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 143:8

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. -Colossians 3:17

DEVOTION
Based on Colossians 3
Colossians 3:17 shifts our perspective from obligation to worship. Every word we speak and every task we perform—no matter how small—is an opportunity to honor Jesus. Living in His name means reflecting His character: love, humility, and gratitude.

It invites us to move through life intentionally, with hearts focused on God. Even mundane actions become sacred when done with thanksgiving. You don’t need a stage to glorify God—your daily routine is holy ground. Today, let your life be a continual offering of worship.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You are Lord over all—worthy of every word and deed. Your name brings power, peace, and purpose.

CONFESSION: I confess I’ve acted from selfishness and spoken carelessly. I’ve forgotten to live with You in mind.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the grace that covers my daily life—for the chance to glorify You in every moment, big or small.

SUPPLICATION: Help me walk through each day with intention. May everything I do reflect Your love and truth. Shape my habits and conversations so that my entire life honors Your name.

PRAYER
“Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.”
PSALM 143:8
Dear Lord, I pray for listening ears and an open heart. Every morning when I rise, it is my primary desire to hear Your voice and move in tandem with Your will. I trust You for every step I take, and move with assurance that Your will for my life is far greater than anything I could dream up for myself. I lift my soul to You, and surrender my mind, heart, and actions to Your perfect desires. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Episode 1423 - Jarvis Kingston I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works Psalm 9:1 Amen !
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 59:16

[[To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David.]] I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. -Psalms 9:1

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 9
Praise is not partial—it flows from a whole heart. David’s words in Psalm 9:1 remind us to give God the full attention of our gratitude. When we reflect on His marvelous works—His faithfulness, healing, provision—it should lead us to whole-hearted worship.

Holding back praise is often tied to distraction, discouragement, or pride. But when we focus fully on God’s goodness, praise becomes our natural response. It strengthens our faith and lifts our spirits. Tonight, let your heart rest in praise, and remember all He’s done.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are worthy of all my praise—my heart adores You. I exalt You for Your mighty works and unfailing love.

CONFESSION: I confess I have held back praise in hard times. I’ve forgotten Your past faithfulness when overwhelmed.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for every miracle, answered prayer, and moment of grace You’ve poured into my life. You never fail.

SUPPLICATION: Teach me to praise You wholeheartedly, even when circumstances try to silence my song. Fill my spirit with joy as I declare Your goodness.

PRAYER
“But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.”
PSALM 59:16
Dear Lord, You are a mighty tower – a strong and reliable fortress when I am in need of shelter. You have proven time and time again to be faithful and reliable. Your power alone is worthy of worship. You display mastery over nature, nations, and the heavens. You also have authority to enact judgment on me for my sins, but instead You have shown abundant mercy. You are my defender and not my accuser. You are my advocate, friend, and hero. Praise be to You, oh Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Episode 1422 - Jarvis Kingston Sabbath Day Shabbat Shalom Worship Service Faith Prayer Breaking News Healing Mental Health Transformation ❤️
Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 2 KIngs 22:8

One leader’s devotion can inspire a nation’s renewal.

Today's devotional highlights Josiah, who became king at eight years old after the assassination of his father, Ammon. Despite his youth, Josiah remained devoted to God, purging the land of idols and leading the people in righteousness. During the restoration of the temple, he discovered the Book of the Law, which led to a nationwide repentance and renewed dedication to God.
STORY
Bible in a Year: The Word is Found Again
Scripture
And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.

2 Kings 22:11
What would you do if you discovered a lost treasure that could change the course of history?

King Josiah faced such a situation when the Book of the Law was found during the restoration of the temple. Josiah, who had become king at a tender age, chose to cling to God and lead his people in righteousness.

What steps do you take to ensure you stay on the right path even when others around you might not?

As Josiah matured, his commitment to God only deepened. He eradicated idolatry throughout Judah and focused on restoring the temple, a significant place of worship. How often do we prioritize the sacred spaces in our lives, ensuring they reflect our dedication to God?

The discovery of the Book of the Law was a turning point. Upon hearing its words, Josiah was deeply moved and initiated a national repentance. This shows the power of God’s Word to transform hearts and lead people back to Him.

How can you make room for God’s Word in your daily life, allowing it to guide and correct you?

Josiah’s response was not merely personal but communal. He led the people of Judah in renewing their covenant with God, showing that true leadership involves guiding others toward spiritual renewal. How can you influence those around you to seek God’s truth and live by it?

REFLECTION
Take a moment to reflect on the spiritual "treasures" in your life that may have been neglected. Are there areas where you need to rediscover God's Word and its importance? Commit to spending time reading and meditating on the Bible, allowing it to guide your thoughts and actions.

This week, choose a passage to study deeply and ask God to reveal His truth to you.

FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: FAITHFULNESS
Begin your day with a short prayer of gratitude for God’s consistency.

Scripture reminds us that we have not because we ask not. Don’t let fear or doubt keep you from bringing your needs to God. He’s listening—and He loves to provide.

PRAYER
And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
2 KINGS 22:8
Dear Father, I will not allow my age or the maturity of my knowledge in my given space to stop me from relying on You and Your word. Give me the heart of King Josiah, give me the passion and dedication to observe Your ways no matter what I face or what I may be going through. Like the reading in 2 kings 22 and 2 chronicles 34, I too am making the decision to seek after and to stay in Your Holy word. I will praise You as I read through the Bible knowing that between the pages are promises forever more. Today I will rejoice in what You rejoice in, I will cry over what grieves You because I now know that the level of my activity is connected to the level of my purity. Therefore realign my sight, fix my focus on You and give me the strength to tear down any walls that hinder me from living in Your presence. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Episode 1421 - Jarvis Kingston It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High Psalm 92:1 ❤️
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Revelations 21:4

[[A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.]] It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: -Psalms 92:1

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 92:1
Praise is not just pleasant—it is good. There is something inherently right, healthy, and restorative about giving thanks to the Lord. When anxiety contracts our world, praise expands it again.

Making music to God’s name lifts our eyes from our problems to His greatness. This is not denial; this is perspective. The most holy name deserves our highest praise, and we find our own healing in giving it. Anxiety shrinks in the presence of authentic praise. When we declare God's goodness, we remember who truly holds control. Today, what music will you make in His name? Let gratitude tune your heart and praise reset your perspective.

A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are worthy of all praise. Your name is above every name, Your goodness beyond all description. You deserve songs of joy from all creation.

CONFESSION: I confess praise is often my last resort instead of my first response. I have let anxiety steal the song from my heart.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You that praising You is good for my soul. Thank You for giving me reasons to sing even in difficult seasons. I am grateful that Your name is a strong tower where anxious hearts find peace.

SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to choose praise even when I do not feel like it. Teach me that giving thanks is good medicine for anxiety. Put a new song in my heart and music on my lips. Let my life make music to Your holy name.

PRAYER
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
REVELATIONS 21:4

Dear God, You have promised that in the life to come, death and pain will be no more. What a beautiful promise that gives us hope for eternity! In this life we may feel the weight of sorrows and troubles, but in Your presence there is fullness of joy. Your heart longs to bring us peace and rest, and to restore our souls. May all who seek refuge in You be blessed with grace and mercy, so that we may live in light of eternity. We give thanks for Your redeeming love, and look forward to the day when the streets of heaven will shine as radiantly as gold. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ecclesiastes 3:11

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. -Psalms 143:8

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 143:8
The psalmist asks for morning to bring word of God's unfailing love. He knows that how we begin shapes everything that follows. But notice the reason: for I have put my trust in you.

Trust opens our ears to hear love's message. Each morning, God sends fresh bulletins of His unfailing love—in His Word, in creation, in quiet whispers to our hearts. When anxiety tries to dictate the day's narrative, we need to hear a different story. Show me the way I should go—this is not just about direction but about daily dependence. Every morning is an opportunity to realign our hearts with His love.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the God whose love never fails, whose mercies are new every morning. You faithfully speak love over us with each sunrise.

CONFESSION: I confess I often rush into my day without listening for Your love. I have let anxiety's voice drown out Your morning message.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You that Your unfailing love is not silent but speaks. Thank You for being trustworthy with my whole heart. I am grateful that You care about showing me the way I should go.

SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to slow down each morning to hear Your love. Quiet anxiety's clamor so I can hear Your gentle whispers. Show me the way to walk today, step by step. Let Your unfailing love be the first truth I embrace each morning.

PRAYER
“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.”
ECCLESIASTES 3:11
Dear Lord, You have set eternity in the hearts of all mankind. We are but a mist that appears for a little time and then disappears, yet You remain ever faithful. In this fleeting life, Youprovide us with moments of joy and sorrow, as well as laughter and sighing. We bear the burden of mortality with grace and understanding, for You have promised a hope that will never fade. May we look to You in this life, trusting in Your unfailing love and tender mercy. On the days we feel weak and faithless, remind us of Your good works and compassionate deeds. Help us to remember that even though our life is brief, it has worth and meaning, and that You have given us a purpose to fulfill. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

-Psalms 59:16

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 59:16
Morning changes everything. The psalmist commits to singing of God's strength when the sun rises, proclaiming His fortress-love in the new day. There is something powerful about morning praise—it sets the trajectory for everything that follows.

Before anxiety can stake its claim on the day, praise establishes God's sovereignty. His strength does not depend on our feelings; His fortress-love does not waver with our circumstances. When we begin our days declaring these truths in song, we build a wall against anxiety's assault. Tomorrow morning, what song will you sing? Let praise be your first language, strength your first thought.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: God, You are our strength when we are weak, our fortress when we are under attack. Your love stands as an unshakeable refuge in every storm.

CONFESSION: I confess I often let anxiety speak first in my mornings. I have given worry the first word instead of praise.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being my strength before I even ask. Thank You that Your fortress-love surrounds me through the night and greets me in the morning. I am grateful for new opportunities to sing of Your faithfulness.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to begin each day with praise instead of panic. Teach me to sing of Your strength before anxiety can speak. Let my mornings be marked by declarations of Your love. Give me songs in the night that turn into praise at dawn.

PRAYER
“Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.”
PSALM 30:10-11
Dear Lord, You have brought me back from the depths of despair. Your lovingkindness has turned my mourning and sadness. I give You thanks for restoring to me the joy of salvation and granting me a spirit of gladness. Your goodness is unending and washes over me in waves of mercy and grace. My heart has been transformed by Your love and I can no longer contain my joy. All my sorrows have been turned to gladness, Lord, and You have done all this for me through Christ Jesus. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 14:27

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. -Psalms 118:24

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 118:24
Today is not an accident—it is God's deliberate gift. This day, with all its challenges and opportunities, was made by the Lord. The call to rejoice is not based on circumstances but on the Day-Maker Himself. When anxiety tries to steal today's joy by focusing on yesterday's regrets or tomorrow's worries, this verse anchors us in the present. God made this day for you. He has purposes in it, provisions for it, and presence throughout it.

Choosing to rejoice is an act of faith, declaring that God's sovereignty over this day is greater than any anxiety within it. Today is a sacred space where God waits to meet you.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the Creator of time who makes each day with purpose. Every sunrise is Your invitation to new mercies and fresh grace.

CONFESSION: I confess I often treat Your days as burdens rather than gifts. I have let anxiety rob me of the joy available in the day You have made.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the gift of today—this exact day with its unique opportunities. Thank You that Your mercies are new every morning. I am grateful that each day is crafted by Your loving hands.

SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to rejoice in this day You have made. When anxiety clouds my vision, clear my eyes to see Your purposes. Teach me to number my days with gratitude rather than anxiety. Help me to live today fully present to Your presence.

PRAYER
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
JOHN 14:27
Dear Lord, Your peace is a gift that surpasses all understanding. You provide comfort in the midst of our trials and tribulations, giving us strength to carry on when the path ahead seems too daunting. Your promise of perfect peace remains true for those who keep their hearts aligned with You. As we walk this life filled with trials and temptations, help us to remember that You are always with us. Fill our hearts with courage and faith, so that we may abide in Your peace and be a beacon of hope for those around us. In Jesus' Name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 147:3

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. -Revelation 21:4

DEVOTION
Based on Revelations 21:4
This is our ultimate hope—a day when God Himself will wipe every tear from our eyes. No more death, mourning, crying, or pain. The old order of anxiety and sorrow will pass away completely.

This is not wishful thinking but promised reality. Every anxious thought you battle today is temporary. Every tear that falls is counted and will be personally wiped away by God's gentle hand. This promise changes how we face today's troubles. They are real, but they are not permanent. We grieve, but with hope. We struggle, but with assurance. The God who promises is faithful, and He is preparing a place where anxiety cannot follow.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the Alpha and Omega who will make all things new. You are the God who promises complete restoration and perfect peace.

CONFESSION: I confess I often live as if this broken world is all there is. I have let temporary troubles eclipse eternal promises.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the promise of no more tears, no more pain. Thank You that You personally will wipe away every tear. I am grateful that our present sufferings are not worth comparing to coming glory.

SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to live with heaven in view. When anxiety threatens to overwhelm, remind me it has an expiration date. Give me hope that anchors my soul in Your promises. Help me to encourage others with the comfort of Your coming kingdom.

PRAYER
“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
PSALM 147:3
Dear Lord, You are the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. You are kind and compassionate in every way. Your mercy is vast like the oceans, and Your grace abundant beyond measure. You restore our souls, giving us strength to carry on. We thank You for being a gracious Provider of comfort in our most difficult times. Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Zephaniah 3:17

Sharing our faith should flow naturally from our relationship with Jesus. It’s about love and letting the Holy Spirit guide us.

Scripture
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isaiah 43:10

What if your life today was meant to help someone find their way to Jesus?

REFLECTION
This week, ask yourself: Am I living as if every moment is holy? Take one day and intentionally ask God to lead you into at least one conversation where you can reflect His love. It doesn’t have to be bold or eloquent—just be present, kind, and willing.

Start small: ask to pray for someone, encourage a neighbor, or simply listen. You don’t need a script—you need a surrendered heart. Trust that as you move closer to others, God moves closer to you. Let love be the spark that turns ordinary moments into eternal ones.

FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: GENTLENESS
Take a few moments to pray for someone who challenges your patience, asking God to soften your heart. ❤️

Scripture reminds us that we have not because we ask not. Don’t let fear or doubt keep you from bringing your needs to God. He’s listening—and He loves to provide.

PRAYER
The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
ZEPHANIAH 3:17
Oh, Lord my God, you are in the midst of my life, you are the victorious warrior who has come to save me and exult over me with joy. You calm all my fears with your love and refresh me with your word. You delight over me and croon love songs over me in the night season. In your tender love and compassion, you gave me a new life and call me your own. You take my hand and lead me in the way I should go. You have taken away my punishment and embraced me with your love. As I delight in you, you delight in me. Glory and honor to my gracious king. Amen. 🙏🏾

Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. -Psalms 30:10

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; -Psalms 30:11

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 30:10-11
The psalmist knows transformation. He has experienced the shift from wailing to dancing, from mourning clothes to garments of joy. Notice it is God who does the turning—we do not manufacture our own joy. This is not toxic positivity that denies pain; this is testimony from someone who has been through the darkness and emerged into light. God specializes in reversals. He takes our deepest sorrows and transforms them into our greatest joys.

Your wailing has an expiration date. Dancing is coming. The God who clothes the fields with flowers will clothe you with joy. He delights in beautiful exchanges—ashes for beauty, mourning for joy.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the God of transformation who turns mourning into dancing. You specialize in holy reversals, changing our sorrow into joy.

CONFESSION: I confess I have doubted Your ability to bring joy from my pain. I have stayed in my sackcloth when You were ready to clothe me with joy.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for not leaving me in my sorrow. Thank You for the promise that weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning. I am grateful You are a God of transformation.

SUPPLICATION: Father, I trust You to turn my wailing into dancing in Your perfect timing. Help me to be patient in the process and open to Your transforming work. Prepare my heart to receive the joy You are preparing. Use my story of transformation to bring hope to others.

PRAYER
“Jesus wept.”
JOHN 11:35
Dear Heavenly Father, We come before You today, Lord, thankful that even in the hardest moments of life, we feel Your presence. We thank You for the promise of hope and comfort that comes with Your faithfulness. Lord, may we come to you with all the sorrows of our hearts and know that You are a God who can weep alongside us. We pray for the comforting embrace of Your presence, that we may feel You near in our grief and sorrows. We thank You for being a God who understands our pain and is willing to heal it. May Your healing grace flow through us and cover us with peace now and forevermore. In Jesus’ Name, Amen 🙏🏾

Episode 1414 - Jarvis Kingston I will praise thee O Lord with my whole heart I will show forth all thy marvelous works Psalm 9:1 Hulk Hogan
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 9:1

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. -John 14:27

DEVOTION
Based on John 14:27
Jesus offers His personal peace, not a generic, temporary calm but His own deep, abiding peace. The world’s peace depends on circumstances; Christ’s peace transcends them. This is a peace that stood firm in Gethsemane and remained through the cross. This peace is His parting gift to us.

When He says not to be afraid, He is not commanding us to try harder but inviting us to receive what He has already given. His peace is available right now, regardless of your circumstances. This gift is not earned but received. This is the peace that passes understanding, that guards hearts and minds.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace who gives what the world cannot offer. Your peace surpasses understanding and circumstances. You are our calm in every storm.

CONFESSION: I confess I have sought peace in worldly solutions that always disappoint. I have let my heart be troubled when Your peace was available all along.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for leaving us Your peace as a precious inheritance. Thank You that Your peace does not depend on perfect circumstances. I am grateful it is a gift, not something I must achieve.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to receive the peace You have already given. When anxiety troubles my heart, remind me that Your peace is available. Teach me to rest in Your peace rather than searching for the world's substitutes. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind today.

PRAYER
“I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellousworks.”
PSALM 9:1
Dear God, It is my heart’s desire to praise You and give You all of me. But I confess that there are competing desires within me. The worries of the day, bad habits, and sinful desires weigh me down and hinder my reach toward You. If You are going to have all of my heart, it will require an upheaval of my flesh – it will require radical submission to Your Holy Spirit. I pray that You would seize my wandering heart and perform marvelous things in me and through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 3:5

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. -Psalms 147:3

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 147:3
God is not just aware of our brokenness—He actively heals it. Like a tender physician, He does not just diagnose our pain but treats it with gentle hands. The binding of wounds speaks of careful, personal attention.

He does not heal from a distance but comes close enough to touch our hurt. Whether your heart is broken by loss, betrayal, or disappointment, the Great Physician is at work. Healing may not be instant, but it is certain. The One who binds wounds knows exactly how to restore what has been shattered. Your broken pieces are safe in His healing hands. He specializes in hearts others have given up on.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the Great Physician who specializes in broken hearts. Your healing touch reaches places no earthly medicine can go. You mend what seems beyond repair.

CONFESSION: I confess I have sometimes tried to heal myself or hidden my wounds from You. I have doubted Your ability or willingness to heal my deepest hurts.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for caring about every broken piece of my heart. Thank You for Your gentle touch that binds up wounds with such tenderness. I am grateful that no hurt is too deep for Your healing.

SUPPLICATION: Father, I bring You my broken heart and wounded spirit. Bind up the places that still bleed with pain. Help me to trust Your healing process, even when it is slow. Use my healing to help me comfort others with the comfort I have received from You.

PRAYER
“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”
PSALM 3:5
Dear Lord, You are as steady as the rising sun. You are dependable, faithful, and always follow through. I want my rising and moving to be predictably passionate for Your name. May my voice of praises to You in the morning be something You can count on. Help me to develop holy habits of prayer and thanksgiving every day, so I can fully step into the calling You have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Episode 1412 - Jarvis Kingston It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High Psalms 92:1 !
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 92:1

A TIME FOR EVERYTHING

1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Every day, people around the world suffer simply for holding on to their faith. Many face rejection, violence, and fear-yet they
continue to stand firm in what they believe.

DEVOTION
Based on Ecclesiastes 3:1,4
Life flows in seasons, and each has its purpose under God’s sovereignty. This wisdom frees us from the pressure to be perpetually happy. There is a time for tears—they are not a failure of faith but a natural season of the soul.

Anxiety often comes from resisting the season we are in, wishing for spring during winter. But God is present in every season. The same God who gives songs in the night will bring dancing in the morning. Trust the rhythms of grace. Your current season is not your permanent address. Even in the season of weeping, God is working, preparing the soil of your heart for future joy.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: God, You are the Lord of all seasons, the One who sets times and boundaries. Your wisdom orchestrates the rhythm of our lives with perfect timing.

CONFESSION: I confess I have resisted the difficult seasons, wanting to skip ahead to easier times. I have been impatient with Your timing and doubted Your purposes.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You that every season serves a purpose in Your hands. Thank You for being present in both weeping and laughing, mourning and dancing. I am grateful that no season lasts forever.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to embrace the season I am in, knowing You are working even in difficulty. Give me patience to wait for seasons to change and wisdom to learn what each season teaches. Help me trust that You are preparing a time to dance even when it is time to weep.

PRAYER
“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High.”
PSALM 92:1
Dear Heavenly Father, I do not just offer praise to You just because You are worthy, but because it is also good for my soul. I am created for praise, carefully woven together to experience harmony with You. When I worship You, I am living out my sole purpose in life. So may every breath within me be praise to You. May every step I take and move I make be for Your namesake. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 143:8

Jesus wept - John 11:35

DEVOTION
Based on John 11:35
The shortest verse in the Bible carries profound weight. Jesus, God and human, stood at His friend's tomb and wept. He knew He would raise Lazarus, yet He still grieved. This shows us that faith and tears can coexist.

Sorrow is not a sign of weak faith—even Jesus experienced it. When anxiety comes from loss or grief, remember: your Savior understands. He is not distant or detached from your pain. The One who wept at a graveside weeps with you in your sorrows. You are never alone in your tears. The God who cried understands every drop that falls from your eyes. Your tears are precious to Him.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You are the compassionate Savior who enters into our sorrow. You are not a distant deity but Emmanuel—God with us in every tear.

CONFESSION: I confess I have sometimes thought I needed to hide my tears from You. I have believed the lie that strong faith means no sorrow.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for showing us that tears are sacred, not shameful. Thank You for weeping with us, for understanding our grief from the inside. I am grateful You are not too holy to hurt with us.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to bring my tears to You without shame. When anxiety comes from grief or loss, remind me that You understand. Comfort me with the knowledge that You weep with those who weep. Let me find healing in Your compassionate presence.

Episode 1410 - Jarvis Kingston Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 23:6

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
PSALM 23:6

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 23:6
David writes with unshakeable certainty: surely. Not hopefully, not maybe, but surely. God's goodness and love do not just accompany us—they follow us, pursue us, never letting us out of their sight. This means on our worst days, in our deepest valleys, through our greatest fears, goodness and love are still there.

They are not fair-weather friends but faithful companions. And the destination? Dwelling with God forever. This eternal perspective transforms present anxieties. Whatever you face today, goodness and love are following close behind, and your future is secure in God's house. You are pursued by grace itself.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the Good Shepherd whose goodness and love never fail. You pursue us with mercy, following us with faithfulness through every season of life.

CONFESSION: I confess I often look back and see only problems, missing the trail of Your goodness. I have doubted Your love when circumstances were difficult.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You that Your goodness and love are relentless in their pursuit of me. Thank You for the promise of dwelling with You forever. I am grateful that nothing can separate me from Your pursuing love.

SUPPLICATION: Father, open my eyes to see Your goodness and love following me today. When anxiety makes me forget Your faithfulness, remind me of all the ways You have pursued me with mercy. Help me to live with eternal perspective, knowing my future is secure in Your house.

PRAYER
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
PSALM 23:6
Dear Lord, You are my God and I will trust in You. Your faithfulness is a shield around me every day, defending me from all the dangers of this life. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, and anoint my head with oil; Your goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. I know I can walk through this life free fream fear, because the Maker of Heaven and Earth stands beside me. You hedge me in, protect me, and beckon me to look forward toward Your kingdom. Keep my eyes set on You, Lord, free from anxiety. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Episode 1409 - Jarvis Kingston Father, You are the great Provider who sustains all creation From the smallest bird to the vast galaxies Amen
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Luke 12:24-26

Consider the ravens: They don’t sow or reap; they don’t have a storeroom or a barn; yet God feeds them. Aren’t you worth much more than the birds? Can any of you add a cubit to his height by worrying? If then you’re not able to do even a little thing, why worry about the rest?”
LUKE 12:24-26

DEVOTION
Based on Luke 12:24-26
Jesus points to creation as our teacher. Ravens do not have retirement plans or storage units, yet they eat daily. If God faithfully provides for birds, how much more will He care for you, made in His image, loved beyond measure? Worry cannot add a moment to our lives; it only steals from the moments we have.

This passage invites us to recalibrate our perspective, to see ourselves as God sees us: precious, valued, worth caring for. Your Father knows what you need. The birds teach us about trust—they work and seek food but do not anxiously hoard. They live in daily dependence on their Creator.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Father, You are the great Provider who sustains all creation. From the smallest bird to the vast galaxies, nothing escapes Your care. Your love encompasses all You have made.

CONFESSION: I confess I often live as if everything depends on me. I worry as if You have forgotten me, as if I am worth less than the birds You faithfully feed.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for valuing me more than I value myself. Thank You for Your faithful provision throughout my life. I am grateful that my worth to You is not based on my productivity or success.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to truly believe in my value to You. When worry tempts me to doubt Your care, remind me of the birds. Teach me to rest in Your provision instead of striving in anxiety. Help me trust that the God who feeds ravens will surely care for me.

PRAYER
“Consider the ravens: They don’t sow or reap; they don’t have a storeroom or a barn; yet God feeds them. Aren’t you worth much more than the birds? Can any of you add a cubit to his height by worrying? If then you’re not able to do even a little thing, why worry about the rest?”
LUKE 12:24-26
Dear Heavenly Father, You are the Creator of all things. Your magnificence is beyond our comprehension, and yet You still love us with an unwavering, perfect love. We delight in knowing that nothing can ever separate us from Your loving embrace. We thank You for the gifts You have given us: food to nourish us, shelter to protect us, and joy that warms our hearts. You have given us the sun to bring life-giving light, and the stars to fill our minds with wonder. Help us not to worry about earthly treasures, but rather give thanks for all the blessing You have bestowed upon us. Give us faith that You will provide for us, no matter what the circumstances may be. We praise You forever and ever. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Episode 1408 - Jarvis Kingston So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Matthew 6:34

So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

Matthew 6:34

DEVOTION
Based on Matthew 6:34
Jesus speaks with practical wisdom about our tendency to borrow tomorrow's troubles today. He does not minimize our challenges but redirects our focus.

Each day brings its own concerns—why double our burden by adding future worries? This teaching invites us to practice presence, to trust God with what we cannot yet see or control. Tomorrow's grace will come tomorrow. Today's grace is sufficient for today. When we live in this moment, trusting God for the next, we find our anxiety loses its power. Focus on today's blessings, today's provision, today's opportunities to trust. The present moment is where God meets us.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You are the Lord of time itself. Past, present, and future are in Your hands. You are already in my tomorrow, preparing the way with Your grace.

CONFESSION: I confess I often waste today's energy worrying about tomorrow's problems. I have missed present blessings while fearing future troubles that may never come.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for daily bread—not weekly or monthly, but daily. Thank You for grace that matches each day's needs perfectly. I am grateful that You are already in my tomorrow.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to live in today. When my mind races ahead to tomorrow's concerns, bring me back to this moment. Teach me to trust You with the future while being faithful in the present. Give me grace to handle today and faith to leave tomorrow in Your capable hands.

PRAYER
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
MATTHEW 6:34
Dear Father, You are the Creator of all and You know everything. Today, we come humbly asking for Your help in seeking peace and strength to be content with our lives. Grant us the ability to take a step back from faithfully trusting in what tomorrow may bring, so that we may remain focused on the day at hand. Help us to live each moment in such a way that will bring glory and honor to You. In Your Holy Name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 12:25

Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.”
PROVERBS 12:25

DEVOTION
Based on Proverbs 12:25
This proverb acknowledges a profound truth: anxiety is heavy. It presses down on our hearts like a physical weight, affecting our whole being. But notice the simple antidote that God provides—a kind word. Our Father often delivers His comfort through the voices of others.

A timely encouragement, a gentle reminder of truth, a word of hope can lift the burden anxiety places on our hearts. This verse reminds us we are both receivers and givers of such words. Today, whose heart might you lighten with kindness? Are you open to receiving the kind words God sends your way through others? Sometimes the smallest gesture carries the most incredible power.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the God who speaks life into being. Your words created the universe and Your words sustain our souls. You know the power of words to heal and restore.

CONFESSION: I confess I have sometimes added to others' burdens with careless words. I have also rejected kind words meant to encourage me, choosing to remain in my anxiety.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the people You have sent to speak kindness into my life. Thank You for Your Word that lifts my heart when anxiety weighs it down. I am grateful for the healing power of encouragement.

SUPPLICATION: Father, make me sensitive to those whose hearts are heavy with anxiety. Give me kind words to share that bring Your light into their darkness. Help me receive encouragement with humility and grace. Use my words to be medicine for anxious hearts.

PRAYER
“Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.”
PROVERBS 12:25
Dear Lord, At times, the heaviness of life and the burdens of the world seem too heavy to bear. I trudge along, desperate for encouragement to keep going. Thank You that an endless supply of love and affirmation is found in Your word. Thank You for making me glad when my heart is troubled. I pray You would continue to uplift me when I am weak, and teach me how to do the same for others. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Episode 1406 - Jarvis Kingston In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. -Psalms 94:19 Coldplay Damian Lillard
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 94:19

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. -Psalms 94:19

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 94:19
The psalmist speaks from experience, not theoretical knowledge but lived reality. In the midst of overwhelming thoughts that multiply like shadows in the night, God’s comfort breaks through like dawn.

This is not about positive thinking or denial; this is about divine intervention in our mental struggles. God’s consolation does more than calm us; it brings joy. It transforms our inner landscape from chaos to peace, from despair to hope. His comfort addresses not just the symptoms but reaches the depths of our anxious hearts. When your thoughts spiral, remember: God’s comfort is greater than your anxiety. He meets us in the tangle with joy.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: God, You are the great Comforter, the One who speaks peace into chaos. Your consolation reaches deeper than any anxiety can penetrate.

CONFESSION: I admit that I often let anxious thoughts dominate my mind before turning to You. I have sought comfort in lesser things that cannot truly console.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for understanding the battles within my mind. Thank You for comfort that brings not just relief but genuine joy. I am grateful that Your consolation is always available, always sufficient.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, when anxiety multiplies within me, remind me of Your nearness. Help me to pause and receive Your comfort before my thoughts spiral. Fill my mind with Your truth and my heart with Your joy. Teach me to run to You first, not last.

PRAYER
“When I am filled with cares, Your comfort brings me joy.”
PSALM 94:19
Dear God, We are reminded every day that when anxieties multiply within us, Your comforts bring us joy. We pray that You would comfort us in our times of distress and worry. Help us to trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, even when we cannot see the way ahead. May the knowledge of Your love and care for us bring peace to our hearts, and may we find joy in Your presence. May our hearts be springs, bursting forth with joy, overflowing onto the people around us. May our love and peace in You be infectious. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen. 🙏🏾
