It's Not You
Guest #1 - Ryan Sotelo B.S., M.A. Physics
Ryan Sotelo has a bachelor's and master's degree in Physics from Western Illinois University - Macomb and is currently a teacher of high school algebra and college introductory physics. My relationship with Ryan goes back to when he was a substitute teacher for me in 8th grade math. Since then, we've become friends and sort-of-colleagues.  In this episode, we talk predicting the future with board games, particle and quantum physics, space-time fabric, the embodiment of information and energy in physical systems, Einstein's theories (and how he disproved Newton), spirituality, God, and more.  Books mentioned in this episode: The Fabric of Reality by David Deutsch  Music in this episode: New Faces v2 - Mac Miller (Faces) Special Thanks to Ryan for his time and energy and for being the first guest on this show. We had a great time and we hope you enjoy our discussion!

It's Not You
Post-Podcalypse with Ryan Sotelo

The post-podcast, after-the-end-of-our-show type of talks.

Here I tell a story of many a coincidence, we talk Huxley on psychedelics, and discuss various books that we've read or are going to read (someday).

Books mentioned: The Doors of Perception - Aldous Huxley; On The Road and The Dharma Bums, both by Jack Kerouac; Self-Reliance and Other Essays by Ralph Waldo Emerson; The Prince by Niccoló Machiavelli; Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig; How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie; and The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Green.

Other media mentioned: Contact (the movie) based off the Carl Sagan Novel by the same name, and Cosmos on Netflix

Music used: Here We Go - Mac Miller (Faces) & Apparition - Mac Miller (Faces)

Enjoy!
