52: Navigating Relationships & Boundaries in ED Recovery w/ Julia Phoenix
TRIGGER WARNING // This episode contains discussions of eating disorders that some people may find distressing or triggering. In this episode, I have a conversation with Julia Phoenix, a love and leadership coach who works with women who have early childhood trauma to create close and supportive relationships in adulthood. Julia also has experience working with women in recovery from disordered eating and eating disorders. We dive into the connection between eating disorders and interpersonal relationships, how we can learn to set boundaries and ask for what is most supportive for us. We also talk about how our relationships, whether it be our partners, family members or friends can support people in recovery and how to deal with unsupportive partners. Thank you Julia for sharing your wisdom and insight with us!
