On this weeks episode we spoke about a lot of different topics. We had a few questions sent through about the James Webb Space Telescope so we decided to dive in and explain a bit more about what exactly it is and what it's primary targets will be when it is launched into space! We also looked into some of the different research that is Australia is currently taking part in and how exciting it is that Australia is starting to get more involved in space. The final topic we covered this week was STEM careers and talking a bit more about STEM education. This week we are discussing all things dark matter! So, what is dark matter? To give a short answer, scientist still aren't sure what exactly dark matter is. But we do know that it is all throughout the universe and has been for a long time... In this episode we talk about a brief history of dark matter, some of the things scientist originally thought dark matter might be, the key bits of evidence for the presence of dark matter in the universe, as well as why it's important to develop our understanding of dark matter.
