Week 60 - Free Guy, The Suicide Squad, Jungle Cruise, Old, Still Water & CODA

Week 60 see's Craig Fields and David Long talk 6 movies, 5 in the cinema and one on Apple TV +

The first movie is Free Guy...

When a bank teller discovers he’s actually a background player in an open-world video game, he decides to become the hero of his own story -- one that he can rewrite himself. In a world where there’s no limits, he’s determined to save the day his way before it’s too late, and maybe find a little romance with the coder who conceived him...

Then they guys argue over The Suicide Squad...

The government sends the most dangerous supervillains in the world -- Bloodsport, Peacemaker, King Shark, Harley Quinn and others -- to the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. Armed with high-tech weapons, they trek through the dangerous jungle on a search-and-destroy mission, with only Col. Rick Flag on the ground to make them behave.

Then they travel down the Amazon in Jungle Cruise...

Dr. Lily Houghton enlists the aid of wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff to take her down the Amazon in his ramshackle boat. Together, they search for an ancient tree that holds the power to heal -- a discovery that will change the future of medicine.

Then the lads get OLD, VERY Old, in OLD...

A thriller about a family on a tropical holiday who discover that the secluded beach where they are relaxing for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly reducing their entire lives into a single day.

Craig takes on Matt Damon in Stillwater...

Unemployed roughneck Bill Baker travels from

Oklahoma to Marseille to visit his estranged daughter Allison. Imprisoned for a murder she claims she did not commit. Allison seizes on a new tip that could exonerate her and presses Bill to engage her legal team But Bill eager to

prove his worth and regain his daughters trust, takes matters into his own hands. He is quickly stumped by the language barriers, cultural differences, and a complicated legal system, that is until he meets French actress Virginie, mother to eight year old Maya. Together, these unlikely allies embark on a journey of discovery, truth, love and liberation.

And finally, on Apple TV + is CODA...

Ruby is the only hearing member of a deaf family from Gloucester, Massachusetts. At 17, she works mornings before school to help her parents and brother keep their fishing business afloat. But in joining her high school’s choir club, Ruby finds herself drawn to both her duet partner and her latent passion for singing.
