Night Listeners - Happy Halloween! I am sorry if this has been a light season, the top part of October was extremely busy for me in the film world. But I tried to pack last week and this week with some spooky tunes. Lots of rippers and even a few first time plays with Obeygrey, Cosmic Fraility, Nian, Mike V & the Rats and Gore God.

Night Listeners - We are back and it has been a minute (two weeks in fact). I have a very special treat tonight for everyone. My long time friend, Justin Beahm, is my guest. He a brand new project called Phantom Lightkeeper that just released a debut album called Shore Ghosts. It has to be my favorite release of the year that was not put out by Captain Three Leg. Justin has merged the perfect mix of surreal soundtrack music with surf rock and believe me when I say he shreds and sends chills down your spine at the same time.

Night Listeners- Sorry for the lack of new show last week. I was up in McGregor, Iowa on a seven day documentary shoot. But tonight we have Anchoress from Ames/Des Moines. These kids LIVE in thrash city and they brought us a pretty sick playlist. Aria, Adam and Keane are all with us tonight.

Night Listeners - Cedar Rapids native, Andrew Cahak joins us to talk about his days with the legendary BRIAN JONES (the band not the person). These guys stood out in front of all noise from 1999 - 2009. Lots of lore from the Cedar Wasteland.

Night Listeners - A very special show tonight. My guests date back to the genesis of the Des Moines punk scene, Mac Stanfield and Ted Irvine. Mac Stanfield was a founding member of the early 80's act The Law. Ted Irvine who was an obsessed fan in the early days now manages the newly formed (Not) The Law who will be performing their first show on August 8th at XBK in Des Moines. We talk about the early days of the music scene, So's Your Mother and Charlie "Chuckie Suicide" Chesterman.

Night Listeners - The boys from Iowa Metal Underground: Woodrow and Byron are back to talk about this years Metal Fest happening on August 9th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the Olympic Southside Theater. We play a handful bands who will at this years fest, Frontal Assaults upcoming tour and what the future holds for the Iowa Metal Underground.

Night Listeners- Meant to post this the morning before the anniversary show but I misplaced the thumb drive that this show on it. Iowa Basement Tapes started on 98.9 KFMG here in Des Moines. We have had the same time slot since since 2018: 9PM Thursdays. We have since syndicated out west with Siouxland Public Media on KWIT in Sioux City and KOJI in Okoboji.
