This week we head out West and find that a large area of England has what's known as a 'West Country Twang'. Distinctive among southern English accents for its rhoticity, West Country suffers some stereotyping in film and media. We discuss the distinctive features of this accent: vowel sounds, consonant sounds and intonation. At the end of the episode, we each choose a sound from West Country to go into the new accent cauldron.
