In Episode 5 of Intersections, Matt Wagner interviews Eric Marcus, a communications expert whose work has ranged from writing consumer-oriented books and developing promotional and informational materials for non-profit and commercial enterprises to production jobs for both documentaries and television network news, including ABC's "Good Morning America" and "CBS This Morning." Eric is the author of "Making Gay History: The Half Century Fight for Lesbian and Gay Equal Rights" (https://www.amazon.com/Making-Gay-History-Century-Lesbian/dp/0060933917), and more recently, the eponymous podcast which brings the voices of queer history to life through intimate conversations with LGBTQ champions, heroes, and witnesses to history, available on iTunes and other podcast platforms (http://makinggayhistory.com/). In this episode, we talk with Eric about his passion for oral history, which stories stood out the most to him, and the differences in gay culture then and now, among other topics. Episode 4: Post-election Clapback
In this episode of Intersections, the entire Target 10 team — president Matt Tumminello, VP Danny Petre, account director Matt Wagner, account executive Aaron Roberts and operations manager Amanda Shy — sit down to discuss the future of LGBTQ, marketing and otherwise, in a Trumpian world. Note that this podcast was recorded just two days after the confirmation was complete, and obviously much has happened since then, though nothing specifically anti-LGBTQ - at least, not yet. For a future episode, we are taking questions! So please email questions (and comments) to mwagner@target-10.com...and enjoy!
